After upgrading to 4.0 it's pretty dissapointing. It's basically the same shit and I don't find the multitasking to be all that great. Considering we get like one big update from them a year it's not very impressive. My phone is also a bit laggy now, even typing this the letters can't keep up. I think they put more thought into the design of the new iPhone than the update. Posted via RS Mobile |

used to have it till i switched a bb and got rid of it fml. |
I have a 3G and 3GS and the 4.0 update is great! I must say that it performs much better on the 3GS, even with the multitasking aside. If you are having performance issues I suggest a full wipe and restore with 4.0 and then sync to get your data, apps, and music back, don't do a restore from backup tho or you will be back to square one. How is the applications compatibility? Does everything that worked in 3.1.3 work in 4.0? EDIT: A bit of Google work came up with this link for apps compatibility |

Androids are looking a lot nicer these days. It looks like it will be another year before apple tackles the shitty notification system they have too. I think the only thing keeping me right now is the iPod capabilities lol...from what I hear the android music player still needs work Posted via RS Mobile |

The music player on the Nexus One running Android 2.2 isn't bad. I don't think it has EQ and all that other stuff but there is shuffle, repeat, etc One thing I've noticed is that their facebook app doesn't send you all the notifications like it did on the blackberry. You'd get a notification everytime you got poked or tagged in a pic but that doesn't happen on the Nexus. There are days (like tonight) where I logged into Facebook and see 22 notifications that I never received on my phone. |

good news is that FRF72 version of LeoFroyo should be available tomorrow! only because LeoFroyo has no radio attachment to their roms! |
I just use email notifications to check my facebook notifications. Since it's PUSH, they come in immediately. The Facebook app for Android sucks. touch.facebook.com is actually better :lol |

The BB FB app sucked donkey balls. Reloading friends and trying to view photos on that thing was like pulling teeth |
The WM one wasn't so bad. Actually it was pretty much identical to the Android one IIRC. I just expect more from Android, it should be at LEAST as good as the iphone app. |
the iphone FB app is un-rivalled like the apple touchscreens oh yea, ANDROID FTW! especially when android gets implemented to your everyday needs in the near future |

yeah i saw those articles already |
:fuuuuu: So what do we do now??? I dun wanna buy a phone that already has so many problems. I actually don't care bout scratches on the back but it just bugs me that they claim it's unscratchable then BAM first day there's already been so many cases of scratching. |
Luckily they working on a fix for the reception problem |
^ looks like we're all buying a case around it lol |

They don't say "unscratchable" but they say "more scratch resistant than ever". That in itself is a bold claim, and reports of scratches within 5 days makes them look pretty bad. |
In their defense, the article doesn't mention how the scratch got there. For all we know, his girlfriends/SO's diamond ring may have scraped the phone and caused the scratch. I think even the most hardest of surfaces would scratch if it was marred by a diamond or a similarly hard object. The pictures are pretty crappy so it's hard to tell what the extent of the scratching is, but from the pics, it looks like there's only one single scratch. I'd like to see some better pics of the device to see if there's other lighter scratches/swirls to see what the real scratch resistance is. |
Now because of those articles I'm torn between an iphone or an xperia x10 |
