always had bad luck with greenpoison's jailbreak...
i was on redsnow's tethered 4.2.1 jb, working perfectly fine with no problems
thought i'd give greenpoisons 4.2.1 untethered jb a try. First wifi starts having issues connecting, then now I can't remove some programs (MyWi) with Cydia, then now my phone is stuck at greenpoison logo in lecture.

I'd wait for redsnow or the rumored, Rubyrain.

OS 4.3 being released on valentines day? still running on 4.1 here, wifi hotspot sounds neat but then again, I use bluetooth tethering and don't have an ipad yet :(

Hmmm I myself am on 4.1 greenrain, but my friends all came with 4.2.1 and I'll try out greenpoison as soon as windows version is out!

if i did upgrade thou do i just update the os through itunes and then just download the new greenpoison jb and all my apps that i had before should still be there?

if you update the OS your phone gets wiped. you wil have to restore from backup. i don't recommend that as its a newer OS and the old backups are known to cause issues.

just redo everything (Apps) fresh IMO.

syncing contacts and shit should be fine.

avoid greenpoison. Its pretty much in "beta" stages atm, even though its released. Lots of bugs and problems.

Use redsnow tethered jb for now

Iphone folks,

So me and my group of business friends have been talking about converting from BB to Iphone 4... anyone here made the same jump? Thoughts?

BB has been our phone of choice due to how familiar we are with the email and browsing interface, but the browser BB uses is garbage, as is the OS and processor.

Ideally we would like to find a program similar to BBM, anyone able to recomend something?

if so apple won't exchange it.

mine has it too, apple say its just the autofocus rattling. some of my friends phone don't have it. but if you go into the apple store almost every single display iphone has the same sound. tbh i had my iphone since launch day and the rattle is just annoying, everything else works fine.

did you do a clean restore before you jailbreak with greenpois0n?
