Remove Background and/or Remove Background Toggle for SBSettings needs to be updated. When pressed, the statusbar disappears until you lock the phone again

Anyone that is using typophone 4 or slant lock on 4.2 and cant put a wallpaper/background?
i cant apply a wallpaper on it, its just black/blank.. apparently there is no work around for this because of 4.2? can anyone confirm.?
