How's the battery life on this thing with the GPS on? I'm going to Hawaii next week and I want to record GPS tracks for geotagging purposes. I typically used a WinMo phone in the past for this because I could get 12 hours of recording before I needed to change the battery...

I dug my iphone 4 out of the drawer, installed GPS Kit and so far, the battery is at 20% after 5 hours. No SIM card installed and wifi turned off. It's also not tracking me properly either, it keeps losing the gps signal even when I'm outside... I was hoping to just carry one device around but I might have to bring the trusty winmo phone with me just in case this doesn't work....

Anything else aside from GPS Kit that I could try? File output must be .GPX

can someone teach me how to change the weather on the lockscreen? it's showing another city or something. i know you edit a file. but which file? TIA

so since there isn't an unlock for 4.1 nor 4.2, I would assume the hackers are just gonna wait for 4.3 and release an unlock for it then instead of bothering with 1 and 2 since they're already behind.

I bought it from a seller on ebay, shipped from hong kong, not sure if he still has it for this price. came with front and back screen protector, and cf back plate. you dont have to install the plate if you dont want to.

So I've been testing out the back covers compared to the oem one, and I'm going to say that the stainless steel grey back cover actually decreases at least one signal bar from your iPhone. I'm at sfu Aq 3181 right now, and I'm sitting at the same location I was on Tuesday for the same class but was using the aftermarket cover and had absolutely no service. I installed my oem cover today and I regained at least one signal bar. I don't know about you guys but on the oem back cover you'll notice this strip on the interior which looks like it has to do with signal and reception frequencies but that's just my assumption because the aftermarket ones do not have this strip. I'll have to do a bit more testing and playing around to confirm this myth / issue.

Vapor needs a hybrid version like Atom ones to help combat the signal issues.

Most people who rocked Vapor/old Atom cases reported significant if not noticeable signal drop. Let us know how you like it, 604nguyen and where to get it for 50 shipped ;)

Im lovin the case, super tight fitment, and looks so good, feels good in the hand, adds a bit of needed weight to the ip4 aswell, the case is rock solid, you could probably hurt people with it haha

to be honest i have not not noticed any signal loss yet, 5 bars at work, 4 bars at home, makes no difference if the case is on or off. maybe im just lucky to work/live in a strong signal area lol.

I realize now why there's always a blue glare in my pictures with flash. I have a custom canuck skin on the back and the flash reflects off the blue.

That black strip is a static strip. You can buy it online for $0.95 or so.

I've recently just jailbroke my iphone 4 with green poison, but i'm having issues with winterboard. How can i use the lock screen wallpaper of the theme i am using currently instead using my own lock screen wallpaper.

i searched online, but all the questions were "how to use personal lock wallpaper instead of the one from the current theme?" but not the other way around.

i went into winterboard and un-selected user background, but still, no luck!!

you see "use user wallpaper" or something along those lines?
tap on them and use the square icon and drag it to the top of the winterboard list.
the themes on the very top of the winterboard list is the ones with most power..

sorry my english sucks lol

So how do I do this? My BiteSMS 5.1 has been doing this too... So how do I install the fixed version?

Yayyy new notification system! I hope it's gonna be Better than androids system which I think is the best there is.. Also hope in ios5 they add in keyboards like swipe but that's near impossible cause apple will never approve add ons lol
