the best reason to upgrade to 4.2.1

now free access at mobileme

got to work didn't know where my phone was. logged on at work PC. shows my phone is still sitting at home. now i can stop worryiong that is sitting in a gutter in the rain somewhere. even if it was, i could still GPS track it, or lock and wipe it.

even send a txt message and warning beep to a thief. "Yo, bitch! i'm tracking your ass down now."

or just covertly track your spouse ;)

theres another similar program that does the same thing but you can access camera to from a PC , forgot what the name was though

So find my iPhone requires data correct? It would be useless for some1 without data on their phone than? Also would be useless if the thief just took out the sim card?

i don't have data. wifi works too. however i dunno if iphone can be configured to connect to ANY open network? like saying the thief strolls past a Waves coffee house.

Greenpoison is idiot proof but doesn't work on everything.

Redsnow works on pretty much everything but requires that you know a few simple things about the iPhone.

Guess I should stick with 4.1 Limera1n for now until a 4.2 is a bit more stable?

I don't even know if I must switch over to 4.2 or not.
