What are the ways to check that an Iphone is indeed brand new and unused?

does restoring reset all the counters? (ie lifetimer, network data usage, etc...)

yah a restore wipes everything. the only way to get a garanteed new phone is buy from a retail store or Apple.ca

just wondering why does my phone keep going into safe mode?

you probably have an app that's causing the crash

delete the last app you installed and see if it still happens

Anyone know when the new iphone 5 is coming out? My plan expires this month so I need to re-new soon..and I don't want to get the iphone 4 if a new iphone is coming out soon.

It's pretty stupid that a new iphone comes out every year, or not even. It seems like there's always going to be a newer iphone out there...or even an ipad considering the ipad 2 came out yesterday. =(

Don't all phone company's spit out a new phone every year too? And they are mostly slight variations of the previous one as well.

still happens, its when im in settings or bitesms or like any main apps (not games) when i press the home button

two ways to solve this

just restore and jailbreak it again or keep deleting apps until you don't get the issue anymore so you can figure out which one is causing the problem

haven't been looking around lately but has a 4.2jb while keeping the baseband to unlock been released yet? Though I doubt its too useful since 4.3 is coming soon
