So to everyone who's asked me for links to the wallpapers, I couldn't find the links :S even with the tineye reverse search. So Im just gonna upload them to photobucket (and a few extra ones that i liked and maybe you guys will like). I dunno if the resolution will be as good though but better than nothing :S

@jhxb if you like the theme its called fiftyfootshadowsHD. The theme includes 20 or so wallpapers that change in a slideshow sorta way. You can add in your own slides to the theme as well. Download the theme at macthemes.net and SSH it into your iPhone through iFunbox. May take a while for you to get how to do all this, but just read through the fiftyfootshadows thread and you should find most if not all the info you need. As for the lockscreen, I think it's not for release so gotta respect the theme maker :)

get a whole set of standard, T's, hex, star, watever on dealextreme or ebay. super handy for all kinds of small stuff.

what's all this talk about the 4.3 hotspot? is it carrier-dependent? ppl keep putting up guides to jailbreak and purchase cydia to save money ... MyWi's been around for a long time. doesn't it make that feature useless if it's carrier-dependent i.e. ATT make u pay $20? Rogers already has that plan where u can share ur data plan with an additional device for $2x.

Are there any apps out there that allows a device like iPod Touch to send a text/sms to a mobile number without having the carrier charge the user for the text?

I called Fido and said that they will charge me for incoming text that was sent from Live Messenger, etc.

not true, as of a couple years ago... you will always be charged for incoming text messages unless you subscribe to some kind of text message plan or package.

check out beluga messenger, you message contacts by email or phone number instead of a username or pin. if the contact is not a beluga and you selected their phone number the service will just text the user. this is a great way to text from an ipod touch.

You sure about this? I'm talking about text sent from non-mobile device.

Only carrier so far that I know charge for incoming text is Telus. I'm on Fido, and I have only added a text plan just a 3 months ago (I don't text a lot), and I've never been billed for incoming texts.

incoming text costs has been implemented to bellus and the whole rogers family iirc. what they say is that unlimited incoming is only included for those who have a text plan. I am not too sure about their policy for sending texts via the internet. It used to be free to send text through their site to phones, but I guess too many people took advantage of it. I think they now claim that they will charge the recipient.

The whole incoming costs, I think was proposed about 2 years ago, at least for Rogers.

yea it gets a bit bland, but the great thing I find about fiftyfootshadows is you can always add in new transitioning wallpapers and I think that does the trick for me. I've got like 50 wallpapers that will keep changing so its aight :P
