i did that with my old garmin gps unit. it needed a swirl of water droplet (or saliva). it still gave up after a hot summer day though. worst is getting back in the car and have the whole contraption fall on you as you are looking for directions.

what sucks is my 9700 used to fit perfectly on the side door space...

i'm leaning heavily towards a proclip solution, but it's so damn expensive after shipping (~$100 mount+holder). i've considered other ones like the tomtom one or the pro-fit, but they both require a no-case/bumper iphone4. looking at the arkon one now.

do you swipe the middle of the screen to change between phone/music etc?

well you can, but the point of theme is so you can click the bottom icons and they jump you to the designated page. The middle pictures on the first 5 pages (phone, media, internet, apps, games ) are icons as well. Say if I clicked on phone it would launch the phone app, Media to the ipod app, the App and Games would take me to the App and Games page shown on pages 6-9

anyone got any recommendations on addicting/must have games?

What do you guys use to backup your jailbroken phone before updating to a new OS?

updated to 4.3 just now
i've read that updating to 4.3 fucks the battery life up hard though..any truth to this?

Most people who have problems such as battery life after an update are usually the people who restore from a back up instead of restore as new

Have you tried creating a brand new alarm event from scratch instead of modifying the existing one? I'm going to try that now...

Yea that didn't help, I've restarted the phone, set a new alarm, tried to set an alarm once 12pm passed, nothing

Your apps should be transferred to your pc when u connect to iTunes anyway so u can just sync them all again.

As for cydia stuff you can download appbackup or pkgbackup (fuck I forgot the name) and it'll remember all your stuff and u just have to click one button to restore them.

shit like this is my biggest beef with Apple, some people absolutely detest itunes etc. i hate how once you get like 2-3 software updates behind, your hardware starts crapping out and acting weird/poorly basically forcing you to upgrade
