I've heard that other phones (like the Nexus One) had the same issues as well with certain hand placements killing reception. I don't think it's really strictly something Apple related?
I tryed the new update on the demo iPhone and damn it's way faster I dunno what u guys are talking about everything runs super smooth and the demo phone got alot if crap on it Posted via RS Mobile
3M dinoc. Just saw the video. In addition there's "brushed aluminum" adhesive strip that goes around the bezel. This is what's preventing the reception drop.
I had the InvisibleShield for a short time on my black phone, and it didn't have a tint. I would highly recommend it for the back of a phone, but not the front. It is very tacky and clingy, so not suitable for front screens.
Anyone who complains about installation just didn't do it properly.
yea the matte one is the anti glare. I guess its personal but i love how it feels on the phone, so much that i find myself sliding on finger on the screen every know and than. With the normal sticky one its not as smooth when you play games and i loath the fingeprints on it.
With the matte ones i only ahve to give the screen a wipe down every few weeks where as with the normal kind i have to wipe it down every 2-3 days if not daily to prevent it from looking gross and moldy.
I have to say though with the matte ones it quality makes a big difference, I buy the more expensive one from sgp or powersupport and they look great, just a bit dimmer but perfectly acceptable. I can see why some ppl might hate the matte ones because they brought the cheap ones. The cheap ones make the screen look broken....

Yeah personal preference. I did buy a more expensive one which I always do with my screen protectors. You are right about the fingerprints though.

We were talking about the protectors that use 3M vinyl, such as InvisibleShield. AFAIK there's no such thing as matte clear vinyl.
But there are matte screen protectors. I do prefer them, because they are absolutely fingerprint free, and also allow your finger to slide easily over the screen. Better than glass, plastic, or any regular screen protector.
The only issue with matte screen protectors is that they slightly distort the image by making it sort of 'grainy'. It's hard to explain unless you look at it yourself.
omgggggggg the reasons to not buy the iphone 4 keeps piling up
i'm sure that will get hack eventually. most of the issues seems to lie with at&t, i dunt think rogers in canada is as anal as at&t.
I don't know how the denying warranty part work. is it legal to refuse warranty base on past information gather without a user's knowledge? I mean what if apple pull that data today and than 2 days later i reformat the phone unjb it and sell it to someone else. That person never jb and need to claim warranty a month later. so he now have no warranty, as his argument to apple is that he brought the phone believing it has never been jb (entirely possible if this jb checking thing is true, everybody will claim they've never jb their iphone when they resell it and there is no way for the buyer to check).
