even with 3G on if u didnt play any game/movie a single charge should last u a day.
maybe the app u played was very graphical?

maybe i'll book an appointment to get the battery replaced. or should i exchange the whole phone? don't wanna lose the untethered jb and the momax front/back sp.

edit: I'm trying the phone with 3G turned off for a day or two. I only get 1 bar on 3G at my place so I'm guessing that it's trying too hard to locate a 3G signal. It's at 4/5 bars on EDGE. I envy those that live high up, and those that get good reception at work/home. I've had full bars on 3G before when I'm out, so maybe I live right between two 3G areas? or my landlord constructed this house in a very weird way...

^find a better excuse and just exchange it. Tell them you have a proximity sensor problem. They'll test it and say it seems fine to them but they'll replace it anyways since they just take your word for it. That's what happened to me when I had a prox sensor issue that they couldn't find.

So I got an iPod touch a little less than a month ago and there is obviously something wrong with it.. After usin wifi for 5-10 minutes it wont load any websites at all.. So when I go to future shop what do I say? Will they help me fix it or will I get an exchange? Do I have to bring the recipts and everything it came with cause I just lost the headphones..

Hey guys, super noob question. I'm have an Iphone 3gs running IOS 3.1.2

Last year, I tried using the blackra1n jailbreak and it was tethered because of the bootrom, so i got rid of it. Now one year later, Im trying this again and I'm still using the same IOS. Which untethered Jailbreaking program could i use for it? There's so many different types of jailbreaks now. Would a current poisonra1n jailbreak work on previous IOS versions?

post pictures of how it looks on the ipod touch. Most themes can be modded to work with ipod touch. If I can see how it looks on yours maybe we can fix it.

depends on your firmware. current firmware of 4.3 is NOT unlockable by ANYONE.

did you restore from a backup? try resetting network settings.

Have you installed the required cydia apps to run this theme? It takes about 15 minutes to set up (including all the downloading). Also are you running on ios 4.1? It needs to be at least 4.1 for it work on your ipod touch.

Well if you know the files where to put them etc. or have been fooling around with other themes, it's actually not that much work. There are some extra unnecessary tweaks such as weather widget on every page. I chose to take that out and that allows me to have more memory and less battery drainage :D Once you've setup the whole theme on your own, you will know where you put your folders so you won't get "lost" using your phone. I was going to go back to my fiftyfootshadows theme because I found the placement of icons annoying.. but now that I know where I have all my apps, it's much easier. It also helps that I can have my favorite apps on top of every Page/Category.

Anyways the most annoying part is making icons since some of them don't auto skin.

Alright 4.1 has been pretty buggy lately, so it's time i updated. If I update to 4.2.1 can I update from a backup of some sort? I just want to keep all of the photos and texts.

I think I fucked up. I tried updating to 4.2.1 using shift restore, but now im stuck at recovery mode and I think im forced to update to 4.3

Did you use TinyUmbrella and use the TSS Server thing to prevent bypass the validation check? Use TinyUmbrella to kick it out of recovery and redo it again.

K I finally got it to update to 4.3. Now i'm tethered jailbroken. this sucks
