I have a dual core android phone along with my ip4. I can tell you dual core doesn't mean shit when 1. The os isn't optimize for it 2. Most of the software isn't optimize for it 3. For whatever reason the dual core phone lags 10 time more than the single core ip4, I belive this is still a software issue

i think this is quite an expensive toy if there is a completely refreshed model every year. i wouldn't care so much if it's a spec bump in a different color etc. the ip4 is actually still out of stock in some part of the world. doesn't make sense to be pushing a new one unless it's targeting a different segment of the market.

i don't think it's a big deal that we're still at single core. if anything we do things other phones can only do with a dual core. i see all these android guys posting up their OC benchmarks on my FB feed it's kinda funny imo.

i suggest either IS or Ghost armor, i hv ghost armor and i dont even use a case now, it has shock protection, and full scratch proof
and both IS and GA are life time warranty so if u get bubbles u take it back to the kiosk and they give u a brand new screen protector, side protector or back protector,

I've set All push message and notification on for all my mail and app, fb,Canucks app....etc as ON
But I'm not receiving any sound or vibrate to notify me. Is there a fix ?
As for email, It doesn't update unless I click into my mailbox

I search around and seems like ablot of people having same problem too

Not all iPhone users use whatsapp. That's the problem with the iPhone. There's too many IM apps out there. Since everyone is aware of bbm, this may finally unify all the iPhone users into one app.

BBM is easy..thats about it. people who buy berries just for BBM need to look at the complete picture of things.

Seriously, how many people do you come across that say "I'd buy an iPhone 4 but the iPhone 5 is almost out."

Why is that stupid? I even tell people to wait until the iphone 5 because it comes out every june/july and seeing as it's almost April, why not wait 3 months?

Of course there are rumors of the iPhone5 being delayed, possibly to 2012 (which would be the first time apple strayed away from it's summer releases) and if that's the case then yes, it would make sense to get the iPhone 4 now.

First of all Apple never made an official release on iPhone 5, its just bunch of rumours. IF iOS 5 will ever be debuted at the WWDC in early June, there is still no reason to assume that iOS 5 and the iPhone 5 will debut together. While it’s happened to line up that way with past iOS and iPhone generations,the OS IS also used for IPAD AND ITOUCH, it does not specify iPhone. iPHone 5 cud simply be debuted running iOS 4.5 or 4.6 or w/e instead of iOS 5 and it still would not deteriorate hardware sales...... we just can't know coz apple never made any official release date announcement.
its just the fact that ppl who say "oh im gna wait for iphone XX" never actually get it, they just say that. How many people hv you come across saying they will the get 4 when it was just 3gs, and right now 4 is out but they still havent gotten it , claiming they will get the 5?

I know they never announced the official release of the iPhone 5 but prior to yesterday's news, every iPhone has come out in the summer and there's no reason not to assume the iPhone 5 would follow suit.

If it was early in the year and people said they would wait then I agree. That's dumb.

But since it's already so late I can't see why people wouldn't wait just a bit longer.

And I do know people wanting to get an iPhone for real and I told them it's best to wait. Of course now I'm not so sure.

On another note has anyone tried Liveprofile? I see a lot of FB statuses with LP pins. It's supposed to be the "BBM" for all smart phones. It works with iphone, bb, and android.

Ya what the heck is up with that? I see a bunch of people on my fb too.

I gave it a try. It's still new but they have a lot of features missing. No group chat is one. It's also annoying how the keyboard goes away after every sent msg.

I'm sick of all these IM apps. Whatsapp, Kakaotalk (mostly used by koreans), textplus4, pingchat, Kik, and now Liveprofile.

This is why I hope BBM does come out for the iphone so I can just have one IM app that everyone is on.

Just swipe your finger across the text as fast and far as you want (not in the magnify glass mode) and it'll only move one character at a time!

I hope Apple took notes on all these amazing Cydia tweaks and implements them in iOS5
