No, I had a rattling problem near the Power button and went to exchange the phone without receipt.

They have a record of who the original owner/contact information in their database though.

So I think as long as you're the original owner and exchanging the phone for yourself.. you'll be fine.

The home button issue is a common problem. Almost everyone I know has that issue and seems quite of few of those who posted also had it. Some of them got it replaced and it was fine for the first few months and it started doing that again. Mine been doing that about 8 months ago but as long as I don't have to press it 5 times or more before it works, then I'm fine with it.

Does anyone else have incoming texts that are timestamped early? Like I'm receiving texts right now, but my iPhone says they were sent at 6:57PM.

so if i'm on 4.2.1 and 02.10.04, will it update the modem firmware to something else if i update to 4.3.3 in itunes? i want to upgrade it to 4.3.3 for the hotspot feature and use jailbreakme, stay on 02.10.04, and also retain the opportunity to exchange the phone should anything happen to it by doing a restore. I'm not sure if a restore will erase all the modifications (i jb'd 4.2.1 using pwnage tool).

from what i understand jailbreakme.com is based on a browser or pdf exploit, so it can easily be restored with no traces left. but redsn0w, sn0wbreeze, or pwnagetool ... not so easily restore to vanilla form with no traces left behind?

^fiy factory restore/upgrade will wipe out any evidence of jb. Thus is will also update you baseband to the newest version. It doesn't matter what matter you us to jailbreak, you can always unjailbreak it by updating it to the newest firmware if u need warranty or whatever

I'm going to Asia next week and I'm thinking of getting the Gevey sim for my Fido white iPhone 4. Apparantly, there are so many kinds and some are fake and some drain battery. Anyone have experience with the gevey sim? I need one where the data works.
