sorry im chinese, eyes too small to read properly |
went to apple today to try and get my iphone replaced did the firmware update this morning and told them my battery+reception was fucked(which it was) all they told me was "since you updated your firmware this morning all the problems should be fixed" wasted my time going down there for nothing fucken BS the rep did tell me that he'll make a note that i came today and if the problem is still there in a few weeks i can come back and get a replacement ( i hope they dont hassle me even more when i do go back) now the thing is i think the iphones you get in the white box are still brand new? and not refurbished? i wasent to sure what the guy was trying to explain to me something about all the parts were brand new except maybe a certain microchip/processors? |

Were you ever higher than 4.2.1? |

I think they said that when they put together refurbished ones they don't just replaced the broken parts but all the important components such as the screen and battery. |
for those who wants to save battery on your iphone 4 get auto3g (Y) |
the white box product = everything on the outside is brand new but everything inside stays the same or fixed |
Went to the apple store today (Pacific Centre). Told the CSR that my home button was not working all the time (would take a couple presses sometimes to make it work). Checked my warrenty and told me he would give me a new one as a replacement! |

I just dropped my iphone4 last nite, and something is moving around inside the case. I wonder if anyone has that Pentalobe (star/torx) screwdriver, so that i can open up the case and take a look? Please let me know, thank you very much in advance. David |

Hey guys noob question here. Currently im using a black 4.1 ios jb'd iphone4 we'll call (a), I'm planning to upgrade to a 4.3.3 ios white iphone4 we'll call (b). Is there anyway to restore iphone (b) and load it up with iphone (a)'s backup? I'm mainly wanting to save All my jb apps and information. I remember reading that you can load up your back up to a different iphone. Posted via RS Mobile |

jailbreak B. instal appsync from cydia plug B into your itunes PC. restore from backup to B |

what happens if i just take my phone in to the apple store in it's current 4.1 version? will they just tell me to upgrade the firmware and see how that works? or will they replace it without having to do that? also, how do i back up all the info on my phone if i do have to get a new one? i see that syncing it gets all the apps to my computer? can i transfer them over to a new phone? what about pics? can i just copy them over? |

What I personally do with my contacts, as I've mentioned in this thread a few times already, is set it up with a GMail account. Read this post: http://www.revscene.net/forums/61678...ml#post7541374 That way, if I ever decide to do a complete restore not from a backup, my contacts won't be lost. I simply need to re-sync to my GMail account. |
ok great thanks.....how many contacts can my sim card hold? can i not just copy all contacts to my sim card? (i'm on rogers) |
