Depends on the sim card... it's typically anywhere between 200 and 500.

The thing with contacts on a sim card, though, is that each contact space only has room for one name and one number. Several of my contacts have multiple numbers in addition to an email address all under one name. A sim card can't do that.

I've been looking to get some new bumper/cases for my iphone but all the good ones are super expensive. Anyone got any recommendations on cool looking ones?

Random question, will a FIDO sim card work on a Rogers iPhone?

only if your iphone is network unlocked or you bought it from Apple Directly (non subsidized price)

the best way to backup your contacts is to use google sync. it takes a while the first time if you already have a lot of contacts, but you can do it on your computer. otherwise if you think that is too tedious, you can try idrive. I've used it multiple times on friends' phones who didn't want to bother with google contacts.

i've used the incase snap in black for almost a year now. i don't know of any other one that can hold up this well, and still feel identical to when it was brand new. i see a lot of ppl go through the cool looking ones by weeks. they just scratch or peel or fall apart.

Battery Drain Problem

Anybody have similar battery drain problems with their iPhone 4:

phone charged at 100%......leave overnight.....in the morning its sitting at 89%. I have everything off (location services, wifi, bluetooth, ping, 3G, data, etc). It usually would either stay at 100% or be down to 99% before but just started draining like this recently.

I'm on 4.3.5 tethered jailbreak. Any Ideas on what the problem is or a fix?

close ur apps, 1 of the app keep trying to connect

rich80 09-24-2011 11:10 AM

I have every app closed...I have sb settings installed and all background tasks are shutdown removed (to my knowledge)

RESN 09-24-2011 11:24 AM

^ it must be one of the cydia apps. Unfortunately if you have alot of them like I did, you'll just have to remove them until you find out which one is leaking memory

Ya I do have a lot of cydia apps. Guess I'll start deleting them to find out what is the culprit. Thanks

Heard on the radio that Rogers has a deal for iPhone 4's for $99 from now until Oct 3. Oct 4 is supposed to be the launch of iPhone 5.

Hey guys, I'm trying to update my iOS to 4.3.5 but when I try to restore my phone, it keeps saying error 1611. I've looked up the apple support site, google, and youtube vids... none of them seem to be working for me. Has this happened to anyone?

DJ Milk 09-26-2011 08:04 PM

Error are usually cause by many things. It could be the 4.3.5 firmware is corrupt and you have to download it again. Sometimes trying a different usb port might work. Also try a different computer might also work specifically one with a different operating system.

I've tried different usb ports, doesn't work... Guess I'll try a diff comp, but its a windows too. Probably have to bring it in to Apple tmw.

I mean if you're using Windows 7 then try one using Windows XP. Your 4.3.5 firmware might be corrupt. Download a new one from here iPod, iPhone and iPad Firmware Download

If you want to make your own spreadsheet, I'd recommend Numbers.

I use Pages for my school notes on my iPad.

LiquidTurbo 09-29-2011 07:34 PM

FOund the perfect app for what I needed. It's called "Back to Black". Exactly what I wanted!

Vansterdam 09-29-2011 07:42 PM

whats a good jailbreak for 4.3.5 firmware?

not to sure what tethered and un-tethered jailbreak means im just looking for the best one if someone can help me out

nvm i read i should just wait for ios5 cause theres already a tethered jailbreak?

BillyBishop 09-29-2011 08:53 PM

Tethered means that if you restart your phone, you'll lose your jailbreak. Untethered is obviously desirable so you can turn your phone off and not have to worry about re-jailbreaking. I'm not sure if there's an untethered jailbreak for 4.3.5, though... last time I checked was a few weeks ago.
