Indeed. I usually reboot my phone once a day since it makes it run smoother and faster right after.

^you can also respiring instead of rebooting. Im tethered and it doesn't make a difference for me lols but I agree it can be a pain in the ass sometimes

Has anyone brought their iPhone 4 to the Apple store to get it exchanged after the warranty period?

My home button just started acting up and it's becoming an annoyance.

Setup an appointment and bring it in anyways.

Plead ignorance and say you didn't know when the warranty expired and ask them if there's anything they can help you do. I've had a friend go in after her warranty expired and got her phone replaced for free.

Apple post purchase customer service is top notch.

Yup, I cracked my white ip4's front screen after warranty period...

I told him is there anything you can do... brought out a brand new iPhone for me even after warranty.

Turns out my warranty expired a few days ago and they replaced my phone on the spot.

That's true, but I've never had my phone crash on me aside from Springboard.. :fuckyea:

apple doesnt charge to replace your cracked screen? O_o

They are supposed to but you can charm your way into getting it done for free.

fuck it happened to me today so pissed....
was just about to meet up a buddy at his condo (which i never been to nor do i remember condo number)
phone crashes just when I almost got there.
drove to a friend's house but he wasn't home, drove to another friend's house to reboot my phone. Don't remember phone numbers for shit had to randomly drop by friend's houses to see if they were home.

Broke mine earlier this year (told them it fell out of my pocket while getting out of my truck and smashed the front) and they replaced the entire phone on the spot at the store at Sherway Gardens. I'm sure it didn't hurt that I have an MBA, MBP and 2 ipods as well though.

anyone update to new facebook yet?
i updated it but it doesn't seem to load for me..

I had wifi on and it took a couple of minutes to load

for most people it doesn't load on first try (some even claimed it bricked their phones lol)

delete the app and then reinstall. Worked for me.

After I updated facebook it didn't load. I open and close it a few times and it just did the same thing. I just left it and right now it works fine

The new facebook apps opens fine for me except I'm not getting any push notifications from it.

Anyone else go this problem?


Lol check out the reviews on the new facebook app, lots of people giving it 1 star and having the same complaints about it not loading up.

Yep..I had to delete the app and re-install it for it to load up.
I'm also not getting any push notifications, but I'm still on 4.3.3

I also delete Facebook and reinstalled and worked fine

So i dropped my phone in a lake during summer, I got it fixed but once awhile the phone would turned off and start back up again.

Went to apple and explained my problem, the guy didn't bother to check my issue and getting me a new phone.
