Can't find Spire on Cydia :okay:

Figured I'd just ask here... For those of you on like telus or a provider without a native iPhone app what do you use to keep track of data usage? Any recommended app? Asking for a friend.

I have the Fido app but trust the built-in counter more.

Settings -> General -> Usage -> Cellular Usage

Just got to make sure you manually reset it after your billing cycle.

If go search in the source, you will be able to find it. Don't bother though. yes you do get the Siri UI but it's not functional unless you have a proxy host.

It was posted earlier in this thread, but the version you download or pay for in cydia actually crashes after a few lock/unlocks and doesn't work again until you respring the phone. To solve that (and also to get the app for free), download the .deb file from here: Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!
Then download ifunbox on your computer so you can transfer the .deb file to your phone (any directory is fine), and download iFile from cydia. Using iFile on your phone, find the .deb file you just put in there, tap it and click installer. Once it's installed (takes only a few seconds), respring your iPhone and check out sleepFX in your settings page :)



Here's a source you can add on Cydia to get most of their paid apps for free:

Try to avoid getting the apps off that repo if it's already free though, as they may be more glitchy than the original updated ones. If you add that repo and search up an app that you want, the free xsellize one should always have an icon that has a "?" on it

Just bought an iphone 4 off cl since bold broke. Having problems with short range detecting wifi, does anyone know if the problem can be solved or is it a dead end?

yikes, I just lost all my previous jailbroken apps after jailbreaking to 5.0.1.

did anyone manage to get siri to work on the iphone 4? i got it installed and proxy info in, but everytime i use it, siri says it can't answer my questions.

Had the same result as you, gave up since I didn't really care about Siri lol

question..

so i took the pictures off my itouch and put them onto a folder on my pc desktop.

yet now when i hook my iphone 4 up to my pc and open up the pic directory (the same directory i took the pics off my itouch from) it wont let me paste the pics from my desktop into the ip4 folder?

why is that? i don;t really wanna have to use itunes etc to import, i figured if you can take them off via usb from the directory onto a pc desktop, you could put them back on the same way?

It's real. Jailbreak and unlock are two different things.

iOS 5.1.1 can be unlocked as well, correct?

unlock depends on ur baseband, it's kind of dependent on your firmware as well because you need to be jailbroken for a software unlock.

atm, refer to gevey's site for the requirements of a hardware assisted unlock. the previous software unlock was only working for a couple days so if you didn't jump on it, too late now.
