Personally I'm going to wait and see what kind of free cases they're giving out. I don't need an iPhone 4 right away, but a free case might make me decide to buy one early.

If they're cheap/ugly cases then I'll wait until the end of September.

Lol ya I realize that, but you totally missed my pathetic point that toyota didn't go around saying that, "oh look ford, gm, honda all have defective products too". The iphone case they are giving away for free is the stupid bumper case they showed off at the launch.

Because you have to hold the Nokia in a very specific way, that nobody would ever do in real life, to cause the issue. But with the iphone 4, all you need to do is touch a certain area of the antenna, and it loses its connection. And it is very easy to touch that part during normal use, you don't have to BURY the phone in your hands to make it happen.

Apple is desperately trying to drag others in the hole with them, but all they are doing is digging it deeper for themselves. Nobody believes their bullshit, except die hard apple morons, which is why you see the 'fails' on these videos.

Apple could have easily let this go after their press conference last Friday instead of trying so hard to drag others down.

Let's see them offer phones to any iPhone 4 user that wants one. Then they might have to supply 100K or more phones.

At least they could then report that they "shipped over 100,000 units the first month" instead of having to refrain from reporting true sales numbers for fear of looking small in comparison to Apple.

Sort of like the Droid X selling out when so many stores had very small quantities of stock to begin with. "Yay, we completely sold out of Droids". I'd still like to see how many they really sold.
