^Yes, and to use your BB again you would have to buy a micro sim adapter.

So if I want to upgrade from my 3G where should I go? Somewhere like wireless wave or straight to Rogers?

go to the apple store, they do all carrier HUP's there.
it will be a lot faster than rogers, since most rogers stores have a call list 50-150 ppl deep.
if ur that far into ur contract, u can get a 16GB for 159 or a 32GB for 249 i believe
the oakridge apple store SHOULD have more today, so go line up at 930
