How do you guys manage to use 6gb of data? It's been almost 20 days since I started my dataplan and I have only used up a little more than 500mb.
Tether in public places with no wifi if you're on a laptop. Just take it for what it is.. basically unlimited data without having to worry if you use over or not. Downloading game apps seems to use up the most.. for example that GTA game is like 200mb.
Anyway got a problem with hotmail and the mail app on the phone.. when I delete messages and read mail, they're marked as unread in the phone, but when I log into hotmail on the web or in the computer they're still unread. Fixes?
Mexican Carrier Executive Claims iPhone 4 Hardware Revision Coming by End of September
CanalMX reports [Google translation] on comments from an executive at Mexican carrier Telcel claiming that Apple is set to release a revised version of the iPhone 4 by the end of September to address the highly-publicized antenna issue. Telcel began offering the iPhone 4 in Mexico last Friday as part of a quiet expansion that saw the device also come to the Czech Republic, Greece, Poland, Portugal, and Slovakia.
According to Marco Quatorze, Telcel's Director of Value Added Services, the iPhone 4 sold in Mexico will initially be the same hardware as that sold in the U.S. and elsewhere, with Apple offering a free case to address potential issues with antenna performance. But he also noted that as of September 30th, when the free case program expires, revised hardware without the reception issues will become available.
The veracity of Quatorze's claim is unknown, as it is unclear whether a carrier executive at his level would even be privy to such information, and it is possible that he may simply be mistaken in his understanding of Apple's September 30th expiration date for the free case program. At Apple's iPhone 4 press conference last month, Steve Jobs noted that the free case program was launched with an initial expiration date of September 30th to provide the company with time to continue its investigation of the antenna issue and perhaps come up with a better solution for future customers.

The dev-team is waiting for 4.1 to be released before they work on the next jailbreak. No point on jailbreaking 4.0.2 when 4.1 is right around the corner. Especially since all 4.0.2 did was fix the loophole used to jailbreak 4.0.1 in the first place.

any of you iphone4 owners notice any signal/call problems at all due to antenna?
i don't mind waiting for the iphone4 in october if there is going to be a newer model out.
Honestly don't think apple will revise hardware that quickly especially for that reason. As if the antennagate pr isn't bad enough. My guess is they will make revision to the iPhone 4 retail BOX to include bumper inside the box. Can you imagine how much money apple will lose doing a hardware revision this early? Early adopters will bitch and buyers will hold on until they are sure they Are purchasing a revised model. Intenational sales will halt as people stock play catch up in various countries and people in those countries will hold off on buying previous stocks. Seeing how tight iPhone already is around the world a drastic hardware revision this early will hurt alot more than help out the sales or PR Posted via RS Mobile
Also, the complains bout the antenna thing isn't as strong as before. I think everyone is satisfied with the bumper/case they are using so no one really cares anymore.

I'm noticing a lot of dropped calls...I'm not sure if it has to do with the proximity sensor issue or the signal but its a great everything else but a phone.
Quick question they say by closing all background running apps is that they say to close all the muiltasking apps but when I do close all the muiltasking apps I still get messages from msn n Facebook and on watsapp like if they were still running in the background
And whatever I thought I closed down when I re open it like etc safari it resumes where I have left off from befor

double tap home button. then hold the approriate app icon. when the red - mark appears tap it to close app.
