My wife had that problem. I told her to take off the screen protector that came with the phone and to turn her volume up. Problem solved. :)

so has anyone kept their iphone screen protector free? i wonder if its really scratch resistant

i bought the anti glare screen from jp cellular, lol it made my screen looked like it had a lower resolution, it looked the screen of first gen iphones

which free screen protector did we get? The one already on the screen?

Do this on the iphone, if it doesn't work then access your itunes ACCOUNT, and there should be a setting from what country you reside from. Select Canada

Setting -> General -> International -> Set your language there

i bought that Star walk app they show in the comercial on the ipad, it's pretty cool, also google street view works freakin awsome on the phone, clearer than on the computer

Just sync your new iPhone with iTunes and all of your contacts, data and apps should copy over.

No screen protectors for me. I can stand the look and feel of them. The iPhone screen is glass and does not get scratched too easily. I have a few 1st gens, one 3G and my daily 3GS kicking around and none have had a screen protector. There are quite a few small scratches on the screens but none of them obstruct the view of the on screen image.

I've been loading up my old 3G's with apps for my kids so haven't had time to look for something for myself yet. :)

I just download the app again, and iTunes will tell you that you've already paid for it and ask if you want to download it again.

I don't know what the limit for devices is, but I have apps on 4 iPhones and have never been asked to pay more than once. And people complain about Apple overcharging and ripping you off. Like paying $1.99 for a good game is too expensive. And letting multiple people use it without paying again. What crooks.

my 2g never had a scratch in the last 3 years of use

Yea my 3G only had one scratch in the screen sns that was due to bailing on my dirt bike with my keys and phone in the same pocket

Although it had a good amount of dust under the screen but I guess that comes with working in construction

I've had my iPhone 4 since launch, and it's been amazing. The Bumper is a snug fit, not bad for being free. The camera/HD videos are awesome. iMovie is a sweet app.

Is there any play/movement on your bumper at all? At the top of mine, i can shift it back and forth by about 1mm. It's kind of annoying since its not an extremely tight fit.

I got an error 1004 on my iphone. it's now bricked and stuck in recovery mode. My phone came unlocked and i didnt jailbreak it.

My old iphone 3g was jailbroken so im wondering of those old files fucked up my new one...

can anyone offer me any advice?

I called apple about the same problem and they just said try restoring on a different computer or try uninstalling itunes and the 6 other programs that come with it (quicktime and i forgot the other names) then reinstall it again.

If you get your iphone from one of the carriers can you still apply for the free rubber case?

I tried it but it said it could not detect a sim card...which isn't the case since the sim is in the phone already.

I've tried reinstalling it on 2 other computers...no luck. :(

I'm bringing it into Oakridge tonight. Hopefully they can fix it.

Do you guys know if Rogers has any 16GBs in stock?
