I can so see people at the night market or people on Craigslist or where ever charging people to do this to their sim as a "service". Just like charging people to unlock your iPhone.

I'm 90% going to get this. I haven't had an iPhone since the 3G and I'm using a 9700 right now. Can't wait for this to come out the Retina screen looks amazing and 5mp camera with 720p recording, I'm sold. Hopefully the front facing camera can be used for other apps like skype.

Keep in mind that FaceTime

a) Works on WiFi networks only (but still requires the phone connection as well)
b) Can only connect to other FaceTime users (so only people with an iphone 4)

It's just a stupid gimmick, pure hyperbole. It was hilarious watching the video, where the guy was AMAZED at using video chat for the first time. Wow, welcome to 1995 pal!

The screen does look good, but not as "AMAZING" as they'd lead you to believe.. We've seen the comparisons using a microscope or a macro camera lens.. but to your eyes at a normal viewing distance, the difference between 326 dpi IPS and 240 dps AMOLED isn't going to be much to the naked eye. It's better for sure, but not AMAZING like fanboys are saying.

Other than that, I like the design. They did just enough to be worthy of an upgrade. In a way that's extra funny, because idiots with 3 year plans are stuck trying to get rid of their 3GS now :lol

well like everything apple, they'll take available technology and make it mainstream. Iphone 4 will be to video chat like itunes was for downloading music.

To me Apple is like China, they counterfeit. But unlike china, they do it so ppl loves them and think they're revolutionary lol.

Cuz I'm not a phome whore like everyone else :). My average phone lifecycle is 5 years. I'm happy with my 3g :thumbsup:

At first glance seems like a neat toy, but no way I'm switching from my Blackberry. 90% of the people I know are on BB and PIN & BBM communication are used a lot for work and personally I really hate typing on touch screens.

100% I'm going to get this.... and 100% it's going on Craigslist right afterwards. I have a lot of Fido dollars and they don't have a single phone I want. Going from WinMo to Android because the next WinMo seems to be as crippled as the iPhone. Figure I could get around 700-800 bux for the iphone 4, that'll get me a real nice Android phone.
