Been using the zagg Full body for a couple of days now. I am not that impressed with it. There is def an orange peel effect and the feel of the screen protector is horrible. It's sticky and attracts dust easily.

Plz, none of the zagg invisible crap stuff. Not into the orange peel feel as it'll ruin the nice retina screen.

I googled and Powersupport screen protectors have really good reviews.
However, I can't find a place to buy for a good price.
Powersupport webstore wants $20+ for shipping alone...

Better price I found is amazon.com or Jr.com.

Any recommendation?

That's what I have been saying.
After half dozen experience with Zagg/BSE full body protectors, I know they are not suitable for Iphones or most of the touchscreen phones.
Moreover, with the retina screen it was a no brainer not to get the Zagg/BSE for the screen because it'll pretty much ruin the beautiful screen.

After a little research I set for the Powersupply screenprotectors. I chose it over the the SGP oleo (both offer excellent screen clarity) because many ppl claim that the SGP oleo scratch too easily (after 2-3 weeks).

First I was going to order from JR.com since that's the lowest price I could find for the combo pack ~US$25. But yesterday I found Amazon.ca is selling the same combo pack for ~CAD$18!!!
Pulled the trigger now just waiting for it to get here.

For those of you who have the invisible shield on, did you put on the cutout for the home button?
I put mine on, but it looks kind of weird. The ring cutout around the home button has a bunch of air bubbles also.

Don't get me wrong. I love using my iPhone 4. But what I find funny is that half the posts in here are talking about screen protectors and cases. Where as the Droid thread talks about wifi hotspot apps and rom cooking. The difference is amazing lol..

Yeah I'm pretty sure more than half of us are unjailbroken and waiting for the 4.1 jailbreak.

joquio 09-21-2010 10:27 PM

Yup, that's right.
Can't wait for the next Jailbreak.
Most of us just got the iPhone4

henry604 09-21-2010 11:53 PM

For those of you who are Jailbroken, whats your favorite cydia app/tweak?
Mine are:

Infinifolders
Wifi Sync
SBSettings
Lock Info with all the plug ins
biteSMS
Action Menu
SBSettings

DanHibiki 09-22-2010 12:23 AM

SBSettings is a must

I think the expected release date for the Greenpois0n jailbreak is this Thursday.

Don't hold me to that tho.

the microsim can store contacts??

Vansterdam 09-22-2010 07:15 AM

^ havent tried but wtf if it can't, that means i gotta store em in my phone and would loose all the numbers when i switch which would be gay

Ikkaku 09-22-2010 07:48 AM

Can't you back up your contacts onto google account and then load it from there onto your microsim?

skholla 09-22-2010 08:21 AM

Why would you want to store contacts on your sim in this day and age? Your phone can store way more contacts than your sim can handle and can also store so much other info that can't be stored on a sim... Profile pic, custom ringtones, custom phone labels, custom email labels, multiple addresses and email addresses, nickname, notes, group, etc.

If you sync your iPhone with iTunes, something that should be don't regularly, then it will backup all of this info. The backup can be transferred to another iPhone. Also you can set iTunes to sync your contacts, calendar, bookmarks with your computer, pc or Mac, outlook or apple address book and iCal. Give it a try...

How do you save your old contacts and all that ish from your blackberry and throw it onto the iphone?

Ilagon 09-22-2010 12:07 PM

Loving the phone, but damn the proximity sensor is pissin me off. My cheek seems to always press the speaker button, mute, or hold. The other day it made a call to my godfather while I was talking to my gf! I've tried to hold it as vertically as possible so that only my ear is touching the phone, but old habits find their way back...

Sync your BB with DM to Outlook or Google. Then sync iPhone with iTunes to outlook or google and yahtzee.

Szeto 09-22-2010 03:20 PM

DJ Milk 09-22-2010 04:27 PM

dub.g 09-22-2010 04:50 PM

just to confirm from an iphone newb

once you turn on your wifi and you downloading something, it doesnt use your data right? without turning off the cellular data?

telus doesnt have an app yet that keeps track of how much data you've used as part of your plan

DJ Milk 09-22-2010 04:53 PM

Yes it doesn't use your data if it connects to a wifi network.
