I have a newb question regarding Apps. I share an Ipod touch with my gf and now I got an Iphone 4, can I transfer the apps(Use to be free but now $0.99+) I have on the iTouch to my iPhone without paying? It was free before so do i have to pay now? It's on her itunes...

You can download and install it on all the iDevices you own as many times as you want for free as long as you downloaded it before free or not.

but i guess its not suggested to plug in a seperate iphone on my computer where i normally plug my iphone as it may overwrite her contacts?


because i have some games and apps i want to share with her and im not sure if its safe to plug her iphone in the itunes on my comp since she already used it on her laptop

I would advise you to ship your package to Point Roberts instead of your house in Vancouver.. from experience the difference is (Point Roberts) took like 1-2days after ordering, while getting shipped into Canada.. lets just say my friends been waiting for his package for about 2 weeks already...

I've gone through 3x 32gb and all of them had proximity sensors while the 2x 16gb i went through have had little to no issues...weird...


and for those of you who had battery life issue, its because of the jailbreak. if your running stock firmware, then try restoring, that usually fixes a lot of things

What is this "proximity sensor problem" you guys are talking about?

When your talking on the phone the screen goes black. If you turn to look at the phone while still in the call, the screen will turn back on.
Some people are having problems with the screen not turning off when they're in a phone call thus leading to accidental cheek touches on the screen.

it's not a hardware problem it's firmware. Get it straight people. 4.1 fixes the problem.

They have a mount specifically for the iphone 4 with apple bumper case. I'm using an incase snap case though. You think I should just get that and hope it fits?

created an account and password.
it'd work initially but whenever i go back to try and enter the password it would say password incorrect.
i tried doing password resets and each time it'd work initially but then not work again...whats up with that?

So anybody jail break 4.1 yet?
