i used my 3G for like 2.5 years, switched to the 4 and havent experianced any of these problems..

although i do alot more txting than talking, but i usually make at least 2-5 calls a day

i just got my iphone 4 from fido

someone told me that its 4.1 firmware and that its not unlockable yet

is this true? any insight?

4.1 cannot be jailbroken or unlocked yet. Neither can firmware 4.0.2

the only thing i can say is the person installing the SP did not center it properly then. coz usually sp is like 98-99% of the screen size.. so there's always gonna be a tiny 1mm gap on the edge. when u guys are saying lifting.. is it both side? or just one? just trim ur sp a little and problem solved :D

WHERE'S THE FUCKING JAILBREAK!?

anyone have any problems with the battery on the phone? mine seems to be decreasing on a fairly fast rate.

i drove home from work and in 5 mins, the battery percentage went down from 67% to about 63%.

would it be affected that i didn't fully discharge the battery before recharging it?

ya the battery life sucks and it seems to get worse ugh.

Turn off WiFi and tethering, and auto brightness.. change email checking to every 30 mins. Thats about all you can do.

lol make sure you close your apps runnning in the background

Try a full discharge and recharge monthly, that has helped the battery life on my phone. Found it to last much longer than, say, the first week of usage.

This is by far the longest wait for a jailbreak. Supposedly it should be coming in days, but I doubt that.

I think the only thing that's bothering people is that they said it'd come out in "days", but nothing has come out yet.

These things will make a HUGE difference in making your battery last longer:
-Disable 3G if not using data (Settings/General/Network/Enable 3G)
-Disable WiFi if not using data
-Change brightness to below 50%

hmm is the headphone jack suppose to be super tight? like after i pop it out 1 notch.. it feels like it's latched on to something and i have to yank hard to pull it out.. it's like that on both the new iphone 4 i got. don't notice it on my friends~ his seems quite loose
