For those who are jb'ed, is any service screwing up? I remember with my jb'ed 2g, youtube application stopped working completely and I had to go through the website. My father's 2g won't even load youtube.com :lol

All of my shit still works. For all those new to jailbreaking you need to install appsync 4.1 from cydia in order to install cracked apps.

As for the updates of limera1n do we just jailbreak it again? Or do we have to restore then jailbreak it with the updated version.

limera1n says it can jailbreak 4.1 3GS. I have a 3GS 4.0.2. Can I jailbreak and unlock it? Pardon me for my ignorance, I've never done it before and the comments are really confusing :(

Do I update the phone to 4.1 then jailbreak it? What's the difference between tether and untether? Also, do I unlock iPhone with the same tool limera1n?

Two questions regarding JB:

A) so u can't turn the phone off?

B) can I still hook it to iTunes, decline any update and s transfer music, videos, etc?

No, untethered means you can do whatever you want like with a regular iPhone.

If you update, you lose the JB.

Yes some apps like MyWi and My3G are paid but of course you can find them cracked.

for some ppl they have to restart their iphone after the jailbreak for it to work~ for the 2 iphone4 i got on 4.1 when i first jb it shows a white icon for limera1n. installed cydia wouldn't show up. restarted and voila

You have to update to 4.1 first

Did you just jailbreak your phone again or did you restore first?

ive got a fido iphone 4 and i'll be giving it to someone who is on the rogers network and they are going to unlock it

they cant use the fido microsim card can they?. any idea of how much one will cost?
