Anyone get typophone 4 weather to work with a wallpaper?

This is my typophone4. I got rid of lockinfo but I do miss the weather part of it.

For the EPHD theme. It only changes all of my app store icons (not stock). Doesn't change any of the stock, Phone, Contacts, Etc icons.

hey so i downloaded that weather app but how do u change the city?

it says it has interaction with the screen but when i touch it/hold down on it, it just gives me the longer term forecast etc. i cant find an option to change the city

You have to ssh into the phone and change the zip.txt file, but unless you're in the US right now theres no point of having this add-on. It doesn't work for our local postal code.

for all the people who asked about the wallpaper please go to cydia and search retina there will be a retina wallpapers HD and you can look at pretty much any wallpaper you want!

I found this:

Open iFile and go to Library > Themes > Tycophone > jquery.simpleWeather.min.js > chose Text viewer > Scroll down to location:' ' > click Edit in the top left corner > type the name of your city and put it between the apostropes. It should look like this: 'Las Vegas' > then click save in the upper right corner > Respring.

but i cant get it to work yet, a guy on the forum did this and was getting Russian cities so dont see why canadian ones wont work

It's a .txt file, not .zip file.

the guy who recomended it did what i did and it worked, are u saying u edited the zip.txt and got canada?

cause this guy did what i recomended and he was getting Rusian cities etc.

I saw that instruction too but I couldn't find it when I opened "jquery.simpleWeather.min.js"


In the zip.txt file you put it the zip code which only works for USA cities now.
Canadian postal code doesn't work yet.

I changed it to 98230 Blaine zip code which is the closest city to Vancouver

the "location ''" is right near the top before the queries start, ive tried a few things no luck..

Can u guys post a pic of thos weather thing i want to see what it looks like......

so did you try editing the zip.txt?
you have to copy to PC first, edit, save, and then copy back to phone and overwrite the previous file

What are you guys using to browse and copy files to your iPhone? I would prefer a Mac client.

I was using iFunBox and it wouldn't save it when I open the file and edit.

Well, I'm wondering how people installed that Elite HD theme from a file.

It didnt save for me either. I just copied it onto my desktop then deleted it off my iphone and edited it then placed it back.

i'm tempted to try and re-write the code for postal codes..

i also emailed the creator to see if he had any way for Canadian cities so i'll let u guys know if i get a reply
