BES is NOT exchange
so its different...I would rather hook up my work on exchange simply becuz its more flexible

regardless, its not the users fault that work is on BES.. in which in most instances, the BES generates the phone line for you..which is why i shocked alot of ppl when i carry three phones out there...

Yes iphone's have had push capability for quite sometime now. I used to have exchange emails pushed to my iphone in pretty much realtime with no problems.

It's also about battery life. I have a 9700 and i love the fact that I can push 3 emails for business use, browse the internet, and use msn, and the battery life doesn't die out by by 7pm. In fact my battery can last 2 days between charges.

When I had an HTC Android, Winmo, or iphone, there was no way the battery could last that long, in fact it would die out by late afternoon.

Plus, typing on a physical keyboard beats the on-screen keyboard anyday

Although the browser on blackberries are horrible, if only I could have the best of two worlds

Opera ;)

anybody watch keynote 2010 for the iphone 4?

i am so impressed with apple team and steve jobs. that presentation was superb. they have really shown somewhat more technical details of the iphone and the features. the structuring of the phone and the resolution. they are treating us like intelligent lifeforms unlike past keynotes where they would tell us how many songs we can have on the ipod and how thin it is by comparing to pencils...

the only problem i really had with steve jobs was the blame on the audience because of the 570devices using up the wifi bandwidth..first few times were alright but it seemed somewhat offensive during the live video chat.

i loved the joke that steve jobs brought in about the leaked iphone. that was pretty damn good. "stop me if you've seen this before" and the crowd chuckles..brilliant.

If you're one of those joe_45 types that don't like interacial dating, you won't like this iPhone 4 video.. :D

I have to say im surprised @ the Iphone 4 i never thought apple would put good features into their phones

this should have been the original Iphone

but the Nokia N8 still seems the far better phone here (OS' aside) when considering features and price

if the N8 wasn't going to be released in the coming months (supposedly August) I think i would jump on the Iphone 4

lol they do have a point in that article ... now that both sides are glass, what do you do when the only place you can put the phone is on surfaces like concrete?

Looks good but impractical in some sense, unless you get a case for it.

gdoh 06-10-2010 09:02 AM

this is going to be a tough decision to make but i think i will wait a year to see what happens for the iphone 4, let other friends get it first =]

!MiKrofT 06-10-2010 10:32 AM

Well they say it's strong and more durable.. never said it was indestructable lol

This is maybe why Apple launched their own case (bumper or sth like that)

But it was only a 3.5ft drop, about the same height as a desk? a frequent dropping point for phones...

MarkyMark 06-10-2010 11:51 AM

Well you drop any phone from 3.5 feet without a case onto concrete and it's going to have some shitty damage to it

Ironically, it's easier to setup the iPhone to access Exchange compared to WinMo.

Its all about how you take care of your stuff. Apple/Mot/HTC can make a super duper design that won't crack after you drop it on the floor 3x but trust me, some goon will drop it 4x or 5x or 10x and it will eventually crack.

DanHibiki 06-10-2010 03:17 PM

My iPhone 2g is sturdy as fuck. I practically throw that thing around and it's totally fine.

True. I had my iphone 3G for over a year and it still looked like new when I sold it.

It feels more or less the same in difficulty now under 6.5/6.5.3
