So I got home and re-synced my wallpapers and of course it doesn't work.
For some reason user lockscreen wallpaper doesn't work with typophone weather.....

just downloaded greenpois0n and what are the cool lookin themes on there?

Typophone should override the slider and the box with its own themed variants; the >> and UNLOCK.

Simply go into the theme browser, replace the unlock/slider PNGs with transparent ones.

Yes delete them.
Only ["Vancouver,BC"] should be what's left.

Apple Warranty
 

Long story short, I picked up a broken iPhone 3GS and managed to get it repaired and working again.

Because I wanted to do a restore, I updated to 4.1. However, after the update battery life went down. I also did a bit of search online and found that some users have been experiencing this problem as well. Some have been able to get Apple to replace their phones with a refurbished one.

I checked my iPhone and it's still under warranty. What are the chances of Apple even consider looking at my phone, given it's not under my name?

Or should I go in and not mention it was repaired before, and go from there?

Everythign was fine until today but now when my phone goes to sleep mode my wifi auto-disconnects. This didn't happen prior and it's wifi staying on even in sleep mode is a new feature on 4.0+.

Does anyone notice that after JBing your phone, it's quite a bit slower in general or is it just mine?

It's not A LOT slower but it's noticeable.

This has always happens since my 3G days. Wifi disconnects when it sleeps and when you press the home button it connects and stays connected for a little bit after the screen turns off. I notice it because when I press the home button to check the time, I would see the 3G or Edge icon and then it turns into a wifi icon. I guess they do this to save battery. Also my phone has always been able to fetch my mail when it's in sleep mode. It auto connects to the wifi to fetch emails at whatever time you set it to fetch at, then it disconnects.

Ya but that was pre-ios4.0 days. 4.0 and onward stays connected no matter what.

I had my iPhone4 since Sept 5th with 4.0.1 and it did that since I got it. I thought this is normal because if it did stay connected to a wif network all the time, then there would be a lot of people complaining about battery life sucking.

They made iOS4 stays connected to wifi ALL THE TIME to let ppl get facetime calls and those without data or those on ipods get to use push notifications.

Mine was working fine until today and I dunno why

8 million $ iphone. LOL Fail.

i havent noticed any slow downs really, and that was my #1 concern, i JB originally with my 3G back when it was a complicated process and then i noticed a slow down right away

with the 4 i've yet to notice it with the things i do on a daily basis and if i did i would revert back to un-jb right away, but it seems fine so far

I remember with my old 2g, using winterboard slowed down my phone significantly. I remember the calculator opening and then adjusting to the new theme, which lagged for a few seconds.

my ex got an iphone on craiglist... something was wrong w/ it and apple gave her a brand new one no questions asked after a short examination of seeing how broken the phone was
