Baseband is your modem version. Something like that.
It handles your incoming/outgoing calls which needs to be hacked in order to unlock the phone so that you can use your phone with various service providers.

Any watermarks for JB'ing on 4.1? I'm thinking of upgrading

When I try to connect my phone to the USB, the computer doesn't recognize it anymore. I tried resetting and power on and off. Phone is 4.1 and JBed. Any Suggestions?

try another usb port, or cable. update your Windows.

Can someone ask Apple to flag his/her iPhone's serial number in the event it is stolen, so if anyone tries to use it, or bring it in warranty at Apple store, Apple would catch it?

On the other hand, what's stopping a seller from doing the same thing, sell the iPhone, and call Apple and tell them his/her iPhone's been stolen (effectively screwing the buyer over)?

Anyone have problems with the I am T-Pain app? 1.6.1 loads up for a few seconds then it closes by itself but I have no problems with 1.6

I wouldn't recommend updating it in the meanwhile, since the fix was mainly for the ipod touch 4th gen.

FUUUUUU my phone just says i got no sim card. fml. no cords with to plug it into my laptop.

Cydia has so many damn problems. I never knew why they never updated their extremely outdated software to something more user-friendly.


So I downloaded 3gunrestrictor and I could only facetime after I made a phone call to that person then press the facetime button. If it's a direct facetime call they don't receive any notifications.

FolderEnhancer?

I find it pretty neat.
Folders open much faster and you can have more than 12 apps in a folder and you can even have subfolders.

eghhhh i hate using installous... what I do is dl the .ipa files directly onto my computer from forums @ sinful iphone

double click to open the .ipa, it shows up in your itunes as an app after (you need appsync 4.x on your phone for this to work...)

then these cracked apps that show up on ur itunes will sync to your phone afterwards

Ya installous keeps crashing the downloads on me.

Another way if you dont' like installing thru itunes is to drag the file into the installous folder via OpenSSH or I-funbox. Then go to installous on your phone and it'll show up in the downloads tab.

You guys must be doing something wrong...I have zero problems with Installous.

While it's downloading and you go, say watch a youtube clip and then go back, the download didn't stop?

I dunno what causes it exactly but numerous things can cause it to crash.

Happens to my friends too.

How about you don't watch a youtube clip while downloading? Are you using backgrounder? Or just the stock iOS4 "multitasking". If its the latter, that is the problem.

I'm using ios4 multitasking.

Installous implemented their downloads to continue in the background so it SHOULDN'T be a problem. If we weren't meant to do anything while it's downloading then they wouldn't have implemented it. I hope they look into it and fix it. Not a big deal tho as I don't USUALLY use my phone when I'm downloading.

i had alot of programs crash or stopped downloading on me from installous and i had to redownload the whole thing.


so far i can't get tom tom canada to work since its like 2gb and everytime im near finish my download it crashes lol
