Do you need a receipt or invoice for your warranty with Apple?

I'm looking at getting an iPhone off RS or CL and most won't give you their invoice...

I would recommend updating to iOS 4.1 first and then using greenp0ison. Worked perfectly fine for me.

When I got my phone replaced, I just told them my name at the Apple Store.

However, I bought it online from the Apple website so I'm sure they had some sort of record on hand.

The warranty should be registered under the original buyer if they bought it via apple.

So basically you'd be SOL if you bought it off somebody else and need warranty work done?

You can try...technically the phone itself is still under warranty. They never really ask you for your name. They just look up the phone serial.

I have problems with my jb iphone not syncing with itunes. Tried updating all softwares. anyone else having this?

i'm looking to clear out all the stored app files on my mac. If i delete EVERYTHING in the app folder, the next time i synce my phone would it automatically transfer every on my phone back to the computer cracked + legit apps?

The only app i want to keep on my mac is the ones that are already on my phone

Severe proximity sensor problem. Started a couple weeks ago when my screen wouldn't turn on after a phone call or even being in sleep for awhile. It got more and more annoying til the screen wouldn't turn on at all.

Some people have the problem the other way around where the screen won't turn off during phone calls and they make all kinds of ear presses against the screen. Mine was the opposite.

No problem. They took the old one and gave me a replacement immediately.

I'm not even sure i understand what you want: you want to delete the stored apps on your Mac, keeping only the ones on your Phone? If you delete them from the Apps part of the Library, it deletes i permanently. If you uncheck them from the phone inventory, then they stay on the Mac.

sorry i was being clear. i have like 3000 apps on my mac's itunes app folder and i only use about at most 100 which are the ones currently on my phone. Some of the 100 apps are cracked some would now.

My question is if i delete the 3000 apps from my mac, when i next sync my iphone would itunes copy the 100 apps that is on my iphone back into the now empty app folder on my mac? I know it would transfer over legit apps but i'm not to sure about the cracked one.

it should only copy the 100 apps that you have, as long as you have the most current version of installous installed.

I just got my 4 from Fido and I must rant that it only takes these mini sim cards. What the hell am i suppose to do with the collection of rare samsungs that i used before?

^use the mini sim adapter that you can rip off that came with ur mini sim card.

you cant, once you rip, you cannot re attach, i tried and was afraid of jamming it in my other phones..
