Google haven't release much information about Gingerbread yet.
It is planned for a Q4 release so we'll probably have more information in the fall.

pretty much you can't get it directly from them anymore, have to go through a carrier so it's a hassle.

Tim Budong 07-16-2010 07:56 PM

google probably wont come out with another nexusone for awhile. aside from the lack of/non-existent PR work. The nexus one is great for the android dev community.

has anyone flashed to 5.08korean froyo radio?

I've been reading, most results and tests from the USA

Google CEO Eric Schmidt "The idea a year and a half ago was to do the Nexus One to try to move the phone platform hardware business forward," Schmidt says. "It clearly did. It was so successful, we didn’t have to do a second one. We would view that as positive but people criticized us heavily for that. I called up the board and said: ‘Ok, it worked. Congratulations – we’re stopping’."

Google just received their last shipment of Nexus One's. No more from them when they sell out.

c3m 07-19-2010 08:09 AM

anyone using a screen protector or some sort of anti-glare protector on the Nexus one?

jeff19 07-19-2010 11:20 AM

^ im using a matte anti-glare protector right now. it feels alot better to ur fingers, but it kinda makes the amoled screen less awesome than it should be :( prolly gonna go back to regular protector soon....
