The leofroyo users how many applications in the background are run that polls/refreshes and needing 3g data? I'm on 2.1 cyanogenmod and battery life is great if I don't have IM+ running and if I do it uses quite a bit of battery since it has to be ready to receive messages. 1-2% standby, but if I'm out and have my messenger on it is about 6-9% per hour. I have set cpu installed with profiles for idle.

I'm on 5.08 but I never had 4.06 to compare.
Anyways after a full day of using it I have some things that I like and some things that bother me.
- Coming from a X10, the smaller screen is REALLY noticable. I kind of miss the X10 in that regard..
- I do like how FAST 2.2 is compared to 1.6.
- The Trackball is pretty cool with it lighting up.
- I really don't like ADW launcher because it fucks with my widgets.
- Launcher Pro is very nice, I'd say just a bit better than helix launcher.
- I don't like that I have to pay for a good calendar widget (pure calendar)
- Other than speed 2.2 doesn't really have much thats better compared to 1.6
- I don't like the power button, it feels like it's too far out
- THERES NO STRAPPY HOLDER!!! WTF!
- the build of the phone is inferior compared to the X10.
- touch sensitive buttons are strange and the trackball is useless except for looking cool
btw I'm using Leofroyo 12

Picked up my Case-mate Gelli case yesterday.
Now I don't have to worry about where I put my phone in my car cause the case protects it from scratches. It fits well and feels good. Posted via RS Mobile |

Leofroyo 1.2 installed! Haven't played around much, I tested out the flash capabilities, loaded up some games on the browser. Haven't really noticed the speed difference. Hopefully the battery will be better I'll have to take it out for the day to see that.
I'm currently using Dolphin browser and it has been good, what is the best browser to use now on 2.2? Is the default one sufficient or any other recommendations?

Wait for the Desire for Telus, or head down to USA and pick up a Galaxy S to use on Wind.
