Uh...we've been saying that in this thread for weeks prior to them taking off the product from their website.

Im looking forward to the Desire, the camera app is better and FM radio support is neat. Its unfortunate that a FULL desire port to N1 isnt coming for awhile, since the kernels are different, hope for the best tho, as Paul@modoco is working on getting it ported

just started using http://www.appbrain.com/

browse and install apps from the web instead of using market.

I've brought that up several times, it's SO much better. There is even an app that will auto-push the apps to your phone, so you don't even need to install it on the phone. Just click install on the site, and the app will be auto installed.

All this talk about Androids getting crazy battery life is making me want to ditch my Berry.. must.. resist...

JKam 07-26-2010 11:19 PM

I'm already on 40 hours and have >40% life left. It's great!

Strzelec 07-27-2010 12:39 PM

I thought the majority of androids were suffering from terrible battery life?

Most of what i read on the internet (you know, cause its all true) is people complaining that they maybe get a full day with light-moderate usage.

thats probably with stock 2.1 or froyo, but when you flash custom roms and kernels it will help conserve battery life.

!MiKrofT 07-28-2010 08:07 AM

JKam 07-28-2010 11:30 AM

u are on desire right?

Ch28 08-07-2010 03:52 PM

I like the black/white theme.

jeff19 08-07-2010 06:17 PM

does anyone kno where I can find the lifetimer ?? i looked everywhere but cant seem to find it :S.

SkinnyPupp 08-07-2010 06:23 PM

Yeah on a Desire. Ever since I had the Omnia II, I have really been into black/white or high contrast themes. Because blacks look AMAZING on AMOLED. Also because gradients don't look so good on it either :o

hongy 08-07-2010 09:55 PM

Hey skinnypupp do you have a screen protector on your phone? I'm thinking of getting the full body shield or something like that since I don't plan on changing phones anytime soon but don't want to compromise usage or anything like that.

Im on LeoFroyo 1.2 on 4.06 radio
I upped to 5.08 radio and the battery life is WORST

apparently, 4.06 radio will work fine with DESIRE rom with 720p video working since its kernal related...in which, it is WAY BETTER on battery life

JKam 08-08-2010 10:10 AM

I'm on 5.08 radio. It will last me at least 2 days of med/heavy usage.

Gh0stRider 08-08-2010 11:55 AM

anyone change kernels lately?

I have a Zagg skin on the back, with a custom print on it, and a cheap screen protector on the front, which works perfectly fine.
