Nothing wrong with slcd. Looks pretty good to me on my desire.

A couple questions for people with the Nexus One (as I'm looking to buy for Telus)

-how much data do you use a month (just browsing, apps, email)
-do you still like it, since it's been out for a while now?

I ask about the data since to stay with Telus, I'd have to transistion to a plan that only gives me 1gb/month. On my old HTC Touch Pro the most I ever used was 250mb, but that was on the CDMA network which is slower.

I'm buying it out of pocket because I don't want to renew a contract as well.

Any sources local in town to get it? Anyone want to sell me yours :)

Thanks!

Did a soft reboot, power and trackball method.
it's back to normal.

!MiKrofT 09-13-2010 09:07 PM

500mb us the minimum I'd go with. I have 6gb but rarely go over 550. All depends on what your gonna be doing.

Well, I will mainly be browsing sites when bored, no facebook or twitter which I think take a lot of data. Mainly car, news and bike sites.

And whatever data apps use. Weather apps and that kind of thing.

So 1gb should be fine then....hopefully. The Telus CSR told me that 1gb was the only option, that they don't offer greater data packages.

CM6 looks pretty good.

Ch28 09-14-2010 08:07 AM

I switched back to Leofroyo 2.0 for today. I want to see if the battery levels are the same as before.

I loved the HTC Sense camera because the pictures it takes comes out as widescreen pics and the camera just seems better.

I'll probably flash it to CM6 tonight and just bring a charger to work and just charge it in the office if it runs out of batt

Ch28 09-14-2010 11:07 AM

Yup the HTC Sense rom drains your battery like crazy

I'm back on Leofroyo 2.0 and after 3.5 hours of use there is still 92% battery life left.

SkinnyPupp 09-15-2010 08:16 PM

I'll repost this from the Desire thread:

BTW I calibrated my battery, and now it charges up to 4182 mV, instead of 3800 or so. If you have a Desire or N1, and it doesn't charge that high, give this a try:

1) You will want to make sure the power cord is plugged into the AC adapter, not USB
2) connect the phone to the charger with the phone powered on, and allow the phone to charge until the notification LED is green
3) Disconnect the phone from the charger, and power it off.
4) Reconnect the phone to the charger with the phone powered off, and allow the phone to charge until the notification LED is green. (this should be instant)
5) Disconnect the phone from the charger and power it on.
6) Once the phone is powered completely on, power it off again
7) Reconnect it to the charger until the notification LED is green. (if done correctly, this will NOT be instant, and your battery will be "topping up")
8) Disconnect the phone, power it on, and use it. Your battery should be charged higher than it was before.

Gh0stRider 09-15-2010 08:29 PM

will give that a try.

SkinnyPupp 09-15-2010 08:31 PM

Be sure to check your before/after battery stats! I don't know for sure, but mine was in the 3800 level after installing Cyanogen
