Also there some HTC features that aren't necessarily based on Sense (in fact I don't use Sense or any of its widgets). Things like the dialer, contact list, syncing contacts with facebook and twitter, better USB support, are all features of the Desire that I desire
There are also some apps you can use such as Friendstream, Footprints, app sharing, PDF viewer, etc.
thats where leofroyo failed. couldn't sync facebook contacts. i had to manual add a picture to my gmail contacts in order for pics to show up when ppl called or txt
I finally..updated my 1.12 EVIL Desire port to 1.20
goddamn is it ever better! its almost the complete desire experience.
I gotta admit, i tried a buncha other roms the past two days, i find myself coming back to this one.
Cyanogen just doesnt cut it.
LeoFroyo needs work to essentially catch up to the rest of hte pack to be considered good
Micromod desire port is terrible
Paul's r24 is based off an older desire2.2 build, stable as it is, its not as "free" as evild
Kang and Rodriguez is too "garbage app heavy" but stable..well maybe not the KANG
last but not least, i gave MIUI froyo a shot..its not bad, but its in beta, lots of room for improvement.
according to the site and the reports, its a completely rebuilt 2.2 from the core to give it it's own launcher/customization...heres a vid..albeit, accelerated.. so its not as snappy as it is in the vid
anyone know how to set a entire picture as a wallpaper? I'm only able to set like 1/2 of the image right now.
Do i have to play around with the size?
It's possible that the aspect ratio of the multiple screens don't actually match up with the aspect ratio of your picture, so that is why not the whole of your picture shows up.
