new car, new to the forum! 1 Attachment(s) First off i'd like to thank craig who sold me my first car and made me become the proud owner of a nissan skyline. so, to start things off, I'd like to share a little bit about myself. My name is David Chan, i'm 16 years old and i own a skyline. I have MAAAD love for japanese cars, and have been dreaming of owning a skyline ever since gr6. I know i may be a bit too young to have my own car, as i still have my learners :(, but allow me to explain. I know my stuff, as i learn so much from my brother. he owns a rb25 powered s13 and i've been following his footsteps and helping him with everything he does with his car. we are familiar with rb engines and i planned on doing what he does in the future. as i have been working for a while. i managed to save enough money ($10,500) to finally purchase my own car. I've been searching on craigslist, buysell, and kijiji for the perfect skyline for about one and a half year. I came across a skyline that was in mint condition and had the basic, minor mods. I then went to go take a look at it with my brother, and i knew it was the right one. i laid a $500 deposit on it and came back to pay the rest($4000) a few days later and also get the paperwork done. Yep, that's right. it was only $4500! I got it insured for a day and since i have my L, i didn't want to drive it home so i let my brother drive it with me. I have the whole summer to prepare this car for my grade 12 year and drive it around as my earliest road test is available in October. but anyways, let's cut to the chase! proud owner of a 1989 Nissan Skyline GTS-T Type-M since June 11, 2010. Basic info of the car: Black 1989 Nissan Skyline GTS-T Type M milage is at 156k clicks power everything clean, mint car! Welcome to RS and please be careful. When I was your age I did some pretty stupid things with cars. Don't ruin your car and drive safe. |
Be safe with it man  |
youre too young give it to me k thx |

good work on saving up your own money i also like the fact that you are mindful of your age and driving experience, especially with a first car as powerful as your skyline. good luck on your road test and with your new car. welcome to the RS community dave |
