RX-8 To be Banned in Europe

"Thanks to its rev-happy rotary engine’s inability to pass the Euro-5 emissions standard, the Mazda RX-8 will be pulled from the European market, reports Auto Motor & Sport Sweden"

http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/maz...ned-in-europe/

how bad can the pollution from an rx-8 be anyways?

Aren't there gas guzzling cars/trucks that are far worst?

it burns oil. and calls it "part of the design", it gets so hot burns the CAT convertor and need to replace it regularly. How bad do you think its for the pollution

Costs more to make. Costs way more to fuel. Hippies don't have that sort of cash. Also, depending on where you get that hydrogen, it can be worse for pollution overall. So you tell me, would you buy one?
