Yea ok, at any signs of adversity you go all apeshit on the team. WAHHHH Canucks suck shit blah blah blah. Were you even watching the game? Seriously...

Tapioca 04-24-2011 07:15 PM

I didn't feel like posting anything after my last couple of rants after Game 5, but I couldn't resist.

I felt the Canucks played a good game today. Sure, you could blame the goals on Schneids, Luongo, a failed backcheck, etc., but we played well enough to win. It would have been a lot different for me if we had stunk up the joint again.

I am at a loss for words. If the Canucks play like this again on Tuesday, they should win, but the universe works in strange ways.

Harvey Specter 04-24-2011 07:15 PM

Someone tell me why the hit on Bieksa wasn't called? What about the no call on the puck that went over the glass? Or the bs goaltending interference call which resulted in the 5-3? I bet the NHL is jumping up and down right now that the Hawks are one game away from advancing.

nabs 04-24-2011 07:16 PM

no no nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo o

one more shot go canucks goo!!

SkinnyPupp 04-24-2011 07:16 PM

So Schneider left because of a "cramp"

Anyone wonder if he bailed after letting 3 go by, 2 being completely his fault?

Mr.HappySilp 04-24-2011 07:16 PM

Nucks is going to lose on tue I think. Just a matter if it is going to be a close game or not. Lu is just curse in the play-offs.

AzNightmare 04-24-2011 07:17 PM

What I'm totally annoyed about is the officiating.
I thought Canucks played well, and dominated most of the third period.
Schneider played well too, but he just had to stop playing the puck.
Both goals were in result of him playing the puck when he should have just
stayed in net.

So many missed/bad calls...
How is Torres hit on Seabrook any different from the one on Bieksa?
Just no consistency at all.

Now the pressure is on the Canucks at home in an elimination game knowing that they just blew a 3-0 lead and are on the verge of one of the biggest fails since last season. They need all the luck they can get because that's the only way we're going to win, this team looks exactly like last seasons team in the playoffs and looks nothing like the President trophy winners.

/end rant.

Werd, that's why it's stupid when people think it's no issue that we don't finish the Hawks in 4 or 5, and even now 6 when we had the chance.

Playing 4 or 5 games is a hell of a lot better than playing 7 bang and crash games against chicago - which may well mean less wear and tear on the roster, and we could've had Salo on the 2nd round at least.

That's why I just roll my eyes when Canuck fans gets all cocky with the broom stick photoshops and all their, "we will win the cup" premonition based on historical similarities of events not even related to the NHL.

TORRES' PENALTY WAS INTERFERENCE.

If you are saying it was just like the Torres hit, then there's no call, since Bieksa had the puck, Seabrook didn't when Torres hit him.

LP700-4 04-24-2011 07:18 PM

What if Schneider stayed in his net? History will be made.

trip 04-24-2011 07:20 PM

fucking got trolled by dallas by letting in the hawks

Hondaracer 04-24-2011 07:20 PM

If the puck wasn't on seabrooks stick at the time of the collision then it was under a couple inches from it

And I'm not sure when the puck needed to be physically on the blade in order to hit a player...

Words cannot describe how upset I am at how the team let this slip away.

I just got up and walked away when I saw the puck go in.

It wasn't a pass, he was chasing the puck. Torres' hit prevented him from getting the puck. That's interference.

Bieksa was carrying the puck behind the net. He got hit. That's not interference.

Now if you want to say that BOTH should have been suspensions for headshots, that's another issue.

But all else being equal, that's why there was no penalty this time.

They could have won today, but the fkn refs are blind.

skiiipi 04-24-2011 07:25 PM

We beat the hawks tonight...just not the refs...

Its okay, game 7....win it boys!

Go canucks go!

If you call out the Canucks we're called bandwagoners. That's the problem in this city, we're always suppose to stay positive and not talk down to the mighty Canucks. Well I'm pissed and I am calling the team out. You want to win the cup, you don't blow a 3-0 series lead and you don't get blown out in 2 of those games.

And every season it's teams like the Hawks that usually advance to the cup final or teams that come in fighting. They're beyond pumped right now, they could complete an epic comeback and kill off the best team in the league. What do we have going for us right now? We needed a spark, Cory was suppose to be that spark but he looks like he's done. Now it's up to Lu, he has to fight his inter demons and get his mental game back on track or we're finished.

le fu 04-24-2011 07:26 PM

Quit blaming the refs you fucking idiots. The Canucks had 3 games to put them away and didn't. The refs don't magically give you 7 or 5 goals out of thin air.

FeistyBearH22a 04-24-2011 07:27 PM

If only they had played like they did today on the previous 2 games.

SkinnyPupp 04-24-2011 07:27 PM

Cory's not done. He can come back on Tuesday, and if he stays in the fucken net, they can probably win too.

FeistyBearH22a 04-24-2011 07:27 PM

Oh and I still believe. We should have won today.

Harvey Specter 04-24-2011 07:28 PM

Fun fact: Only 6 teams in NHL history have forced a game 7 after been down 3-0. 3 teams have won, 3 teams have lost.

doesn't matter if it's the 1st shot or the 30th shot, if he needs to go down then he can't help it

I don't see cory getting the start at home

I think Lu will get the start.
