Gold medal was way louder. Entire city including Richmond was screaming, honking horns. This game was mainly crazy and wild in downtown Van. But today was just epic, reminded me of the Gold Medal Game when Crosby made that shot in OT.

Amazing game. I knew Lui would step it up and have a stellar performance, and he did just that. Ballard, Edler, Kesler, Burr, Higgins all played outstanding. I thought Higgins was bound to score at some point as he absolutely dominated this game. Looking forward to next series!

We can be thankful OT went our way. The goal would define how the franchise would be for the next few years...either a team that can dig deep and finally get it done...or the biggest choke in the team's history...if not the NHL.
