Vancouver he did pretty good for the most part, I'll give him that. Getting the Sedin's at the draft was a legacy we are still reaping the benefits of.
Most of the team in Anaheim that won the cup was assembled before Burke came in. He added a few final pieces to the puzzle.
Toronto has so far been a wash. He's made a few decent moves, but a lot of crap that has me scratching my head.
As I see it, he has lost his touch that made him a really good GM in the late 90's and early part of the 2000's.

Not really. Burke got rid of a lot of the dead weight in Anaheim prior to the Cup. Trading that Fedorov contract for Wright and Beauchemen was amazing.
He also brought in Niedermayer, Pronger, and re-signed Selanne.

Shaw Cable which services Western Canada still hasn't found room on its digital tier for Sportsnet One and they have no idea when they will. I've been noticing that my HD channels on my Shaw Box have been changed up. Global use to be on 199 and now its on 200 something. So i guess they are shuffling room for it.
