Just use cbc.ca

the most reliable one, and all the Canuck games are going to be broadcasted on CBC.

Canucks in 5; win the first 2, lose game 3 and come back and win game 4 and 5.

And can you guys believe ROLSON of all the goalies in the world still has what it takes to get a shutout and advance his team to the second round?

Yes,becuz Roloson is a PLAYOFF BEAST...sadly, not during the regular season
the man is 6-0 when facing elimination in the playoffs. His stats are ok tho, but Roloson is a playoff goalie that is THERE WHEN IT COUNTS

xept when he got hurt in Edmonton..lulz

Harvey Specter 04-28-2011 12:54 AM

I was just talking about his run with the Oilers with my dad and about his injury, Oilers would have won the cup if he didn't get hurt.

Yzerman is starting to look like a genius for getting Rolson for basically nothing but lets see how he does vs. the Caps.

I think so too. and just when all of Canada thot Ty Conklin had it in him to bring the cup back, he choked behind the net

good for brind'a'mor, that was his cup. he was a beast too.

Take it easy there bud. As much as I like Roloson and think he's clutch and still awesome for his age. He's facing a Pittsburgh lineup consisting of mainly a bunch of grinders. Worst PP I've ever seen, missing Crosby and Malkin.

Side note: Kovalev needs to retire, either he's too slow now due to age or he's become even more of a lazyass player.

jigga250 04-28-2011 01:43 AM

I'm goin to games 3 and 4!:D

Got 8th row lower bowl tix in the end the Nucks shoot at twice for both games, and return airfare from SEA for less than $580/person, all in. The tix were $110 each vs 450+ in Van.

:fuckyea: so pumped

goo3 04-28-2011 02:39 AM

Speaking of that Edm-Car series, it was MA Bergeron who cross-checked the guy right onto Roloson that sprained his knee. I remember thinking you injured the guy who's been carrying your team LOL. Then they lose game 1.

DanHibiki 04-28-2011 02:48 AM

Don't be surprised if we lose tomorrow. The way they played on Tuesday must have took a big tole on them physically. Hell, mentally as
Well.

I really wish they were given til at least Friday to play.

Both the players and the fans need a break.

Nashville is more of a hockey town than most people think.

SkinnyPupp 04-28-2011 07:36 AM

I think the Canucks are gonna lose the first game in OT, then steamroll them in 4 straight

Power play: a long Canucks playoff run means lower electricity use in B.C.
April 27th, 2011
Category: Community

Call it a case of accidental energy conservation. It turns out that Vancouver Canucks playoff games mean lower electricity use in B.C. During game 7 of the Vancouver and Chicago series Tuesday night, BC Hydro estimates an average drop in electricity demand of about 3.6 per cent (244 MW) compared to the same day, same time last week. This is equal to turning off 48 million compact fluorescent light bulbs. It seems televisions are on but many other electrical devices are off when the Canucks are on the ice.

BC Hydro noted less demand for electricity in B.C. for most of the home games during the series, but most notably during games 1 (Wed., April 13 ) and 7 (Tues., April 26). For game 1, there was an average reduction of 2.8 per cent (204 MW) compared to the same time, same day one week earlier – the equivalent to turning off 40 million compact fluorescent light bulbs.

Yup, Nashville/Tennessee has extremely passionate sports fans, it is a true sports town. The Predators might not have a following as large as other US teams like the Sabres, Wild or Blackhawks, but the fans they do have are extremely passionate about hockey and the Predators. I think a lot of you will be surprised how loud it'll be in their arena.
