GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT game today
my first live game KNEW we were gonna win ;)

Just got in from the game.

Refs tried to even up the game cause the Canucks were dominating (maybe not on the scoreboard but in almost every other aspect). Missed trip on Raymond 4' from the ref staring right at him, clipping call on Ballard.

At one point the SOG was 17-2, then 22-7, ending with 30-20. At one point the FO's were 22-3, ended at 40-26. Our defence was super solid, Lu was solid even though he didn't face many shots. offence had plenty of good chances in front of a really solid, Rinne. All in all a really good game for us.

Tight, defensive games can be a bit boring but our scoring chances and hit kept me cheering thoughout. At some points it felt like I was at a regular season game cause we hardly faced the Preds and just coming of the roller coaster 1st round.

Haha tootoo deserved that one. He acted like a complete tool at the pre-game warmup.

funny how people cant stop talking about high hits, then Ballard gets penalized for a hit that is "too low" lol

It wasn't even low.... It would have been thigh on thigh had Tootoo not raised his knee to avoid the hit (and if he wasn't so tiny).

On another note, great game. Exactly like everyone said it would go, lots of D, not a lot of open ice. This is gonna be a long series with few goals I think.

When they showed sundin on the big screen he didn't know until a good 10 seconds. Then he motioned the crowd to pump it up with his hands and everyone was cheering lol
