The NHL's New York lawyers have been busy today.

Radio station Rock 101 has received a cease and desist order regarding signage and contests during the playoff's so far.
Promotions director Aaron Buckley calls it ridiculous.

He says it's Vancouver's team, we're big hockey fans, supporters of the team.

The letter mentions a Rock 101 promotion where fans could take a sledge-hammer to an old van bearing the Blackhawks or Nashville Predators logo before the game.

That's a fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the sign says "...crush for the Cup"...and the Cup, apparently is a little too close to the Stanley Cup for the NHL's comfort.

He says the colours used on the cardboard sign they stand next to the van are copy-righted.

Buckley says they will comply, but may have to get creative.

Vancouver Kingsway Honda received a similar letter for painting the words "Go Canucks Go" and a stick and puck logo on a showroom window.

Rock 101 is owned by Corus entertainment, the same parent company as CKNW.

They should make a really long sign that reads,

" Crush for a Cup that is not affiliated with the NHL, Gary Bettman or any other high profile organizations that hates kids "

Bylsma deserves it for sure. Missing there franchise players for good chunks of the season and they still finished with 106 points.

U can say the same for AV with his crippled D Core. But i think Bylsma probably deserves it. Losing Crosby, Malkin and Staal for half the season each and doing wat they did was pretty amazing

That save was great, but was it really necessary to flop down like that.

Anybody notice how the Canucks Pred series starts at 6pm our time while the Sharks Wings series start at 7? Both are PST teams facing a team in the EST zone. NHL conspiring against Canucks?
