Game 1 could have been 5-0, and this game could have been 0-5. both goalies stood on their heads in each of thier losing games. The canucks did a great job game 1, but game 2, we both had equal oppurtunities to end it in 60 mins. Yes we should have gotten an extra goal to secure our lead, but honestly, do you think we just gave up after 1 goal? we worked our asses off and so did luongo for almost 100 minutes. We didnt make stupid plays and sacrificed odd man rushes, we tried to play conservative and take less risks near the end, while trying to jam in the security goal.. but a bad angle shot from behind the net let 58 mins of hard work get wiped clean and start fresh in sudden death. regardless of that 1 goal, you can see Luongo playing with his heart and all the intensity that is expected of a 10 million$ goalie/player. |

"Last week the NHL cracked down on a local car dealership Kingsway Honda for having "Go Canucks Go" signage in the window." Why the hell would this matter? How can the NHL take down that signage? |

I drove by the other day, it's not " GO _ _ NUCKS GO " |

that is a horrible analogy. hockey is a business and entertainment, yes. we are consumers to the game, yes. BUT it isn't the same as purchasing a vaccum cleaner and not being happy with it. Sports, and team sports are alot more complicated than just good and bad. Win or lose. The best team doesn't always win, and the favourites never always prevail. There are a shit load of factors such as players, refs, coaches that can affect the outcome of the game. Within that game, there are injuries, fatigue, audio, visual, phsyical stimuli. A rut in the ice, a water puddle, snow buldup on tape etc.. I just can't stand it when people who critique sports really don't know shit because they have never played. I would never critique the whitecaps for being a bunch of losers, because I don't know the game enough to have my own 2 cents without being confident I am making valid points. People are too quick to assume things not in sports but in everyday life as well. Lastly, all vancouver fans look at the burrows goal as great and he made a great play and it was unluck that campoli had the puck on edge and gave it away. if that happened to vancouver, and it was edler who gave it up, we would be saying edler was a moron who should have got it out hard off the boards, and that luongo shoulda saved a fluttering puck that was going 60kph. |

The problem with some of our fans is that they are quick to judge and lambaste our players for any and every mistake made. It's always a "what have you done for me lately?" type of attitude which sickens me. This is OUR team, SUPPORT them through good AND bad. This is what a true fan is to me regardless of how many games they watch in a season or if they only watch the playoffs. Hell, look at how many people were calling for Luongo's head through games 1-7 in the first round. There was a fitting quote in the province that said "Lu haters will NEVER be satisfied". |
Sponsors pay big money so why would the NHL or the Canucks allow some dealership to use their brand for free? |
Wow, I'm tired of seeing all these people on my facebook complaining about the refs everytime we lose a game. What a bunch of whiny shitdicks |

^ been posted several times. they're also over playing the damn song on the beat :lol |
I actually think the refs did a good job in game 1 and 2, sure they "missed" some calls but it went both ways and let the teams play. Some fans really need to stfu when it comes to blaming others everytime we lose a game when clearly the entire sucked last night. No it wasn't Lu's fault or the refs, it was the ENTIRE team that lost last night. |

Rinne is human and he won't be able to keep up this godly shit for too long if we keep getting good scoring chances. With that being said the Sedins need to get the puck behind the net a few times. |
i still have plenty of confidence in the canucks but i (and they) should know they are capable of executing a LOT better than they have thus far in the playoffs. go canucks goooooooo! finish off these preds asap please :D |
tampa out played the caps |

if the sedins can find their scoring touch, than we pretty much have this series on lock |

Vinny with the game winner!!! Yzerman is goldmember |
so Burrows has obviously had a bit of a hot hand lately (well, at least as much as anyone on the team can be considered "hot" at the moment). I can't understand why AV hasn't tried putting him back with the Sedins to try and get their game jumpstarted. |

Especially in the playoffs, it is basically like flipping a coin.. MAYBE the first round may be easier to predict who will win, but as you go into the 2nd round, it is like flipping a coin as to who wins a series. Even if a team sweeps, within that series the games are probably going to look like 1 goal games across the board.bunch of OT games. Whoever the Canucks play here on in have a great chance of winning.. They are all going to be giivng 110%, so if a team decides to even take ONE period off, the game will most likely be decided already. As for Rinne.. I hope he doesn't go on a crazy streak like Giguere did for the Ducks that year Anaheim lost to the Devils |
