Because Burrows / Kesler have been playing great together. AV won't mess with a good thing until he has to. Which in this case, means either Kes or Burr will have to go a little cold, then he'll go back to shake things up.

they should put hodgson with the sedins.. and i am not even kidding.. it is known that most players can play with the sedins and they should put him up there... scratch sammie.. he obviosuly is hurt or just in a huge suck slump right now.. at least hodgson will add some speed lost when burrs got taken away from that line.

Most analysts are idiots. I don't know how most analysts can confidently speak their mind when they have never played the game themselves. Even the guys on the team 1040 are morons. Aside from guys like ray Ferraro and 1 or 2 guys from the panel on tsn/sportsnet/cbc, no one knows what the fuck they are talking about. if you haven't played the game, I'm sorry, you don't know shit. I realize they are bringing up topics etc to get people riled up and for ratings. But I still have the right to call them idiots.

I totally agree. Probably most the ppl who post in this thread have never even stepped on the ice either.

The only comments from commentators n such I actually like to listen to is Pierre Mcguire. You can actually tell he's played hockey.

Yup, I was watching TSN and they interviewed some of the players at the airport and there was a small crowd of fans getting autographs. Also you can find out media information like what time the team is leaving by calling into the media line.

mcguire is SO annoying, one of the absolute worst IMO. Goes off on tangents that make no sense, won't shut up about composite sticks breaking, etc.

It's a fact that composite sticks break more than wood ones and you lose a lot in feel. The only good thing about composite sticks is that allow mediocre players to shoot the puck far harder than they would otherwise (myself included.) :troll:

TSN panel said the Canucks need a lucky bounce to get into his head, that's what happen during the Ducks series so lets see what happens in game 3.

For some reason I'm not overly stressed about this series as I was with the Hawks series. The Canucks are the better team, we would have won game 2 but it look like the team was exhausted and out of gas. I'm confident that we'll win this series.

Pierre Mcguire is one of the most biased and overbearing commentators/analysts I've ever heard. The guy's a complete moron.

AzNightmare 05-01-2011 10:44 PM

:lol Some of the things Mcguire says makes him sound homo too.

hahah, I remember the time Turco just rolled his eyes from the bench.

I agree. Burrows had plenty of success with the Sedins and we have to get them going. Kess is such a one man machine doing everything right that he will be fine no matter who you put with him.

I am glad the Canucks have 2 days to rest. They can regroup and get their offense going in game 3.

Greenstoner 05-02-2011 09:54 AM

A good rest is what the team really needed right now

So the game tomorrow in Nashville is starting at 6pm PST as well... looks like they compromised both ways. We start our games an hour earlier than usual, and they start their games an hour later than usual...

Tim Budong 05-02-2011 11:17 AM

The Green Men will be in Nashville

http://www.theprovince.com/sports/Na...260/story.html

and Puck Daddy Wyshynski has rallied support from around the league

http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/...urn=nhl-wp3963

I love this move. Although i fear for their lives in Nashville. If they got the seats beside the box, ALL THE BETTER.

Greenstoner 05-02-2011 11:29 AM

show no fear

TRDood 05-02-2011 11:52 AM

Wow, playoff tickets in Nashville are two-three times less expensive than Vancouver.

Balcony = $73 vs. $250!!!

No love for hockey down south?

RiceIntegraRS 05-02-2011 11:57 AM

^ i dont think that its cheap there. Its just really expensive here
