Gutsy to do it in Nashville!! I hope they have seats next to the box.

Someone here said they were going down for games 3 and 4...

Return airfare from Seattle plus lower bowl seats in Nashville for the two games is cheaper than just attending two home games here.

I love this move. Although i fear for their lives in Nashville. If they got the seats beside the box, ALL THE BETTER.

From the Green Men FB page:

Nashville complained that they didn't want us at Rogers arena. They didnt say anything about us showing up at their arena. Greenmen hit the road!

:lol ! ^ nice, they found a lupoll.

murd0c 05-02-2011 04:10 PM

I won't be surprised if they don't let them into the arena

I was wondering about that too... They might need to change once inside the arena instead.

once they are changed, there's really nothing stopping them from being ushered out. hope they get to stay!

It's still pretty ridiculous to only charge $170 for lower bowl front row seats in Nashville. They don't have NBA and I don't think NFL started yet. MLB? lol

I saw zero Nasville jerseys in Vancouver home games, maybe half of Bridgestone will be Canucks jerseys tomorrow. :D

I saw a family of 4 all wearing Nashville jersey's at game 2.

scottsman 05-02-2011 05:27 PM

I dont know what game half of you were watching but Lu kept the canucks in the game and kept the lead that they were lucky to get.

Canucks were outshot 36 - 15 after 3 periods. Yeah Rinne played great but give Lu some fucking credit. A lucky bounce takes away 6 straight periods of shut out hockey.

Tim Budong 05-02-2011 06:20 PM

Shane O'Brien is on twitter

follow @ShaneOBrien55

Ronin 05-02-2011 07:10 PM

I believe one of two things happens with the Canucks.

1. They make opposing goalies look good. I can't put my finger on how exactly whether it's shot selection or whatever but how do you explain how awesome rookies and backups are against the Canucks every year? Curtis fucking Sanford was a Canuck killer for a long time. Devan Dubnyk? Seriously...even mediocre goalies look like Patrick Roy against the Canucks.

2. The goalies actually are better against the Canucks. What player wouldn't get fired up to play lights out against the best team with the highest goals for in the NHL?

punkwax 05-02-2011 07:25 PM

Shane O'Brien is a loud mouthed tool. Trying to be the star of the show, get the most camera time because of his history with the Canucks.

He made a few nice plays (uncharacteristic to what we saw) but 5 periods in we saw good old Shaner getting schooled by real NHLers.

Good riddance.

^ let's be fair now, i appreciated what SOB did for us in the playoffs last year (especially against LA, that was fucking entertaining :lol)

he's only trying to get under the skin of the canucks and bask in the spotlight while he can.

JesseBlue 05-02-2011 08:57 PM

i hope to see a few more 'clipping' penalties tomorrow...

Mizter 05-03-2011 05:50 AM

GAME DAY! Go Canucks Go!

I don't have much time for the guy. Whining to the media when he played here, partying at the Roxy and sleeping in instead of taking his career seriously... then he talks shit when he's gone... guys a tool.

Gumby 05-03-2011 08:20 AM

Yeah I never liked SOB. I remember he got one dumb penalty after another.

Tegra_Devil 05-03-2011 08:40 AM

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

does anyone have the clip of jordan eberle reviecing his watch for best player in todays game, and trying to shake hands with the sexy chick on the presentation mat and getting turned down?

so funny

The green men are on Georgia/Thurlow. They have a home made penalty box and are doing therething in protest to the league. Its worth checking out if your in the area.

Heard Ballard is out and Alberts is in. SMH
Ballard wasn't great in gm 2, but at least he tries to recover on his turnovers. Rome was the one who pinched in on the gwg on friday. I don't get AV -_- at least Hodgson is in.

Soundy 05-03-2011 10:33 AM
