sandbox 05-03-2011 09:25 PM

good game tonight boys

spideyv2 05-03-2011 09:29 PM

Kesler is a beeeeeeeeeeeast. Sedin's continue to worry me though

scottsman 05-03-2011 09:30 PM

The twins are combined for -10 this playoffs. They both gotta pick it up.

spoon.ek9 05-03-2011 09:39 PM

can't really explain what's up with them.. i hope they figure it out soon because we need our top line to be just that, our top line!

kesler is just too fucking beast for nashville to contain. most of the analysts said this series would come down to special teams play. looks like they weren't far off with that prediction.

also, lol at weber just sitting in the box with that pissed off face. he was there LONG after the goal was scored. whole building was booing and upset :D

falcon 05-03-2011 09:50 PM

I bet the Sedins will suck for this and the next series only to come out big and hit their career peak in the finals. That's my prediction.

mb_ 05-03-2011 09:51 PM

19 OT games this year so far, jesus - and majority of them have been won by the visiting teams

They better find their game soon. If they continue on the way their are now, we won't go very far in the playoffs.

falcon 05-03-2011 10:00 PM

Hopefully they can get back on it with Burrows back on their line. Seems like Kesler is great even without Burr.

spideyv2 05-03-2011 10:05 PM

lmfao watching hockey central, where are the 'NHL hates Canucks' people at now?

I don't even see how that's funny.

palepilsenpin0y 05-03-2011 11:20 PM

If the Sedins step up their game, the cup will be inevitable. Otherwise, it'll continue to be tough for us.

Great game tonight 'Nucks!!

It's true that they gotta step it up, but it's playoff hockey and they're the stars. Coaches have their pesky players shadowing on these guys so it is much harder for them to do any scoring. Think Esa Tikkannen on Pavel Bure during the cup finals 1994. Or Ryan Kesler on Patrick Kane in the last series.

dbaz 05-04-2011 12:45 AM

so has the nhl released a statement yet that nashville fans in yellowish tshirts banging on the glass will be kicked out of the game for distracting people? :troll:

Or he's being a total tard.

shawn79 05-04-2011 12:57 AM

So we got:
vince vaungh cut out vs chicago
carrie underwood cut out vs nashville

Who will we see against det or sj :troll: :troll: :troll:

It is not like all of a sudden during the playoffs coaches from other teams have decided to put the best players against the Sedins. Through out most of the season as leading scorers they had to deal with this yet they were both able to put up amazing numbers.

The difference is that the players who have been tasked with handling the Sedins have stepped up their game, the brothers have not.

If The Canucks make more plays exactly like the OT goal then they will win the series in 5. Throw the puck on the net with traffic and shit will happen. They let Rinne off with too many easy shots and dump ins from the blue line and outer boards.
