well, i wish him the best of luck in LA (until we play them heh) and hope his health stays good. he will definitely be missed and it's going to be weird not seeing him in a canucks uniform.

He was a true warrior and had the potential to captain the team this season. Who knows how the playoffs turned out had he not been out.

When Kesler, Ohlund, and him were named "alternate captain",
Mitchell was actually the one that held the Captain roles, such as the one
that goes talk to the refs.

Mitchell was basically the captain since Luongo, being a goalie,
couldn't do anything a Captain normally would be able to do.
