Unfortunately for them, they don't have the big budget that we do to build a better team that consists of both offense and defense like we weer able to since 2007.

Tonight might be Lidstrom's final NHL game...

Let's hope not... I want all the series except for Canucks to go as long as possible.

TRDood 05-06-2011 11:17 AM

Ticketmaster jumping the gun. They have already put a link for Round 3 game 1 on their website.

Edit:
What a steal!

Section 307, Row 4, $251 per seat :fullofwin:
Qty: 3

Now let's hope they don't do a blow out.

AzNightmare 05-06-2011 12:12 PM

I just realized NHL makes a History Made commercial everyday...
so wonder there seems to be one for every Canuck game.
There a bunch for other games too, but not all of notice since it's not Canucks.

dbaz 05-06-2011 12:41 PM

more kesler history will be made

fliptuner 05-06-2011 12:46 PM

Not taking anything away from Kes on that beauty goal but what the fuck were SOB and Weber thinking? No collapse, push, nothing? They deserve to lose with that little effort.

spoon.ek9 05-06-2011 12:50 PM

kesler's goal was the highlight of the night on sportscentre :D

my immediate reaction to the goal last night was just WOW!

weber looks exhausted and they dont have anyone besides weber and suter. when they need to replace one of the two during key situations(last 2 gwg's) they get burned (obrien)

game 1 28:29
game 2 42:12
game 3 29:10
game 4 26:25

weber averaging over 31mins a game due to double ot game

SOB was probably hungover

AzNightmare 05-06-2011 01:43 PM

Well Weber was in the box on the GWG PP.
Suter in the box for the other GWG PP.

You take one of them out, and their defense breaks.

in both pictures her eyebrows are not level with each other. She looks frustipated.

Nik Lidstrom has had an incredible career. Check this shit out (from Wikipedia):
Quote:

Nicklas Erik Lidström (born April 28, 1970) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman who has played his entire National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Detroit Red Wings, and is their captain. In his 18 NHL seasons, Lidström has won four Stanley Cups, six James Norris Memorial Trophies as the NHL's best defenceman, and has been voted into eleven NHL All-Star Games. He also, thus far in his career, had never had a minus +/- rating in a season until 2010-2011, for a total of +429. To date, he is the only European-born and trained NHL captain to win the Stanley Cup, as well as the first European player named playoff MVP.
One of the greats, for sure.

Yeah, pretty simple formula: take a short highlight clip of the night, put it into slow-mo so you can stretch a 10-second play out to fill 30 seconds, add some "vintage" video effects, layer in some cheesy music, and paste the "History will be made" text and Stanley Cup logo on the end. *yawn*

orange7 05-06-2011 02:54 PM

those cupcakes look delicious.

I want a green one. :fullofwin:

Spidey 05-06-2011 02:55 PM

I'm sure most biddies in vancouver know what a playoff beard is. Unless they're fob.

Good luck on your date though.

Ronin 05-06-2011 03:12 PM

If a girl in Vancouver doesn't know what a playoff beard is, she probably isn't worth dating.

shawn79 05-06-2011 03:39 PM

they probably have one growing down their pants anyways:awesom:

b0unce. [?] 05-06-2011 03:46 PM

What a play by Lidstrom for Wing's 3rd goal. I hope this guy doesn't retire.

oh! and the Bertuzzi Spin-O-Rama goal was pretty sweet.

Anyone see Bertuzzi's spin-o-rama to backhand roof? Sick sick goal. Glad to see he's got those moves in him.

AzNightmare 05-06-2011 04:09 PM

YES! Detroit winning! Keep it up!
Drag out the series!

Too bad it's now only like once every 15 games as opposed to once every 2 games back when he was good.
