I think our D is second only to Chicago in the West. LA is good too but all of our D-men from 1-6 are solid players. None are particularly amazing but all of them could be top-4. |

LA has this in Doughty. I believe he'll only get better Hopefully Hamhuis becomes our #1 dman now that hes out of Shea Weber's shadow. Or edler steps it up. Remember that Hamhuis voiced that he did not sign in Philly because he wanted MORE responsibility...and guaranteed PP time. Something he could not have with the likes of veterans Pronger and Timmonen |
doughty got talent he can be scary |
Doughty was fucken scary in the playoffs. Everytime he got the puck during the PP pretty much was a sure goal |

But of course at the time we didn't know Burrows and Kesler were badly injured, and on the second unit all Doughty had to do was fake shot Ryan Johnson and he'd bite every time for the dive. |
video goal judge upstairs is bs.... it just ruins the game http://www.nesn.com/2010/08/nhl-cons...ckey-nets.html Reply With Quote |

or am I the only one that does that? I googled and tried to fill in the missing letters in your url. http://www.nesn.com/2010/08/nhl-cons...ckey-nets.html ? ok... RS truncated the long url, but the link is correct. ;) I see nothing wrong with this besides the goalie having no where to put their water bottle so that it stays out of the way. Those bottles are gonna get sniped off the net. IF they decide to do this, perhaps create a pocket/sleeve for the bottle to sit in so it doesn't roll while being placed on it's side. Overall, this seems unnecessary, and the netting doesn't really provide much confusion in previous goal reviews. The main problem was the puck being lost in the goalie's gear, or the puck was just under something, so people couldn't get a good look either way. Not because of a few strands of netting being in the way. If they really wanted a solution that would help, they'll have to ban goalies from having dark colours in their gear, and make them wear white figure skates. Good luck with that. |

found an old video i took against CHI during the regular season, good times :D |
^Is that the game where the puck was deflected really high in the air and landed in our net? If so, I was at the game as well :D Edit: Yup, that's the game |
It's going to be weird seeing Raffi Torres wearing a Canucks jersey. I hated him so much while he was a Oiler. |

If it was a play off game, you would be throwing your remote at your TV when the shoe goes on the other foot. |

Probably a lot of stuff I don't want and there's no way I'd go during PNE unless I'm already going to the Fair. "Rogers Arena" still sounds so weird. |
